5 out of 5 eggsBig, quiet fan

Pros: It's a big fan and as a result gets good circulation at lower rpms. I'm operating a Mid-Tower and it fits, but it's a snug fit. It's a solid fan at a good price.

Cons: It's a big fan. Probably best suited for a full tower. You should also look at the layout of your motherboard before committing to this fan. This fan makes it very difficult for me to replace or install RAM without removing the fan as well, and it makes it essentially impossible to utilize all 4 RAM slots.

5 out of 5 eggsawesome

Pros: this thing keeps my quad cpu 2 C degrees cooler then the motherboard-34

Cons: yes, it's very big and do not upgrade to this fan, install it when you make a system and leave it there forever

Other Thoughts: i have case fans 2 250mm fans, 2 120 mm fans, 1 200 fan

and this 140 mm cpu fan

ive made a study of keeping my huge video cards and psu and testie cpus all nice and happy with fresh air

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Darn good cooler, pretty quiet, very effective.

Cons: Bloody HUGE. Barely fits in my case. INCREDIBLY difficult to install. Has to be completely installed with the mobo outside the case. Interferes with one of my ram slots, fortunately I only have two sticks.

Other Thoughts: I'm running this on a Pentium D 820, stock 2.8ghz, running stable at 3.8ghz at about 60c under load. Pretty darn good.

5 out of 5 eggsCold!

Pros: See "other thoughts"

Cons: See "other thoughts"

Other Thoughts: Small but important correction to my previous message: the second sentence should read "my load temps are NOW equal to.."

5 out of 5 eggsCold!

Pros: I got this big guy to replace the stock cooler that came with a C2D E4500. Wow! My full load temps are not equal to what my previous idle temps were! The temperature drop is no less than 14 degrees (Celcius). Added bonus: this puppy is very quiet; I can barely hear it...

Cons: Not one!

Other Thoughts: Yes, it's big. But it fits just fine in my mid-size tower, housing a Gigabyte DS4. E4500 oc'd to 2.7 GHz, idle temp is 36 C, load temp 48.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat cooler

Pros: Enormous but lightweight, cools well, quiet.

Cons: Size makes installation a bit difficult.

Other Thoughts: This thing cools much better than my old 92mm copper tower cooler and also weighs a lot less. Installation can be a bit tricky because of the size, but much less of a pain that my old cooler.

5 out of 5 eggsi love it

Pros: i love it, it sits perfectly between my video card and power supply, it works like it should and even when running with the door off it doesnt sound loud or obnoxious. definately say you should get this

Cons: dlesnt exactly fit the socket am2 with included hardware, but if you take apart the oem amd heatsink and use the clip fom it, then it will work perfectly, good and snug.

Other Thoughts: im running an asus v3-m2nc61s motherboard(from a barebone) with an aspire 500 watt power supply, amd am2 sempron with 1 gig memory, next upgrades in mind 2x2gig mem, with an asus geforce 8400gs video card comin in next tuesday

4 out of 5 eggsMassive and quiet

Pros: Massive. I laughed when I opened the box. Fan is very silent. Mounting wasn't too difficult.

Cons: Doesn't keep my CPU as cool as I expected. I'll hit around 40 C while gaming. My case fans are on low, though, and air flow isn't top of the line.

5 out of 5 eggsVery QUIET and COOL!

Pros: I read the other reviews and decided to try it out and it keeps my AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ processor between 26 and 30 degrees (centigrade). It's very quiet and is well worth the money. It is MASSIVE compared to the stock cooler and other after market coolers, but it works great at doing it's job!

Cons: The only problem is that I had to take out my MB to install the bracket on the bottom side. You will need plenty of room to install this cooler. I have a server tower and it tucked in close, but if you have a not so deep tower then you may want to look at another cooler or it will probably hit the backside of any optical or hard drives. The pictures in the instructions weren't the best.

Other Thoughts: If you have the room and want to run your CPU at a cool temp then go for this one.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cooling

Pros: Very good cooling! Kept my E6400 at 35c idle and 45c running orthos. At 3.2Ghz, it idles at 37c and never gets above 50c running orthos. It is also silent, and much lighter than it looks.

Cons: I didn't think it was too difficult to install, but size may be a problem for smaller cases. It covers the whole top half of my D975XBX and comes about 1/2" from my video card.
