4 out of 5 eggsGreat airflow

Pros: They fit easily in the case rear mounting spots. They do not add any extra noise that i notice but then I put these in a server case with a total of 8 case fans, 1 CPU fan, 1 VGA fan and a PSU fan for a total of 11 fans. If you notice one fan louder than the rest then you need to move your server into another room.

Cons: The power adapter to P4 molex is cheaply made. When I connected them originally one fan was spinning at less than half that of the other. After playing with the connectors and changing how they were connected I was able to get them to both spin at full speed. The adapter is touchy, once its running you don't want to move the case at all as it could loosen the connection and slow a fan down.
I did not use the power adapters in the final build as the motherboard had two connections near the rear.

Other Thoughts: If you need or want extra, cheap airflow then adding these will do just fine for any system.

5 out of 5 eggsThey work

Pros: They work as advertised. They certainly move a lot of air.

Cons: No eggs for this, I was warned through the previous reviews. They are a tad loud, but not terribly so.

Other Thoughts: I needed the CFMs. Running Seti @ Home on two R9 280Xs at reduced clocks (950mhz/1500mhz) and still cooking at about 74C, down from 80C+ at stock clocks and with lower 23CFM OEM fans.. Mind you, they are installed in a Silverstone HTPC case. These fans were the only viable option. I hope they last a good while.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Airflow Output, Minimal Noise

Pros: These fans produced excellent airflow output. I am very pleased. Noise produced by them (2 identical fans, side by side) was minimal and did not increase overall fan noise any higher than it already was. In fact, they were surprisingly quiet, and that was a very pleasant surprise.

Cons: The only Con I can think of is that they are NOT completely silent. But seriously, I didn't expect them to be. After all, an 80mm fan, spinning at 3500 RPM, and outputting 62 CFM is NOT going to be SILENT. These fans were about as "noisy" as I expected them to be, and seriously, I was pleasantly surprised that they were NOT as loud as I had imagined that they would be. They were, in fact, QUIETER than I expected, so that was a very pleasant surprise.

Other Thoughts: I installed a pair of these, side by side, in the front of an old Lian Li case, an old PC-61 Black case. They were mounted into the front panel at the bottom. They are the cool air intake fans for that case and they blow directly onto the hard drives. The original Lian Li 80mm case fans didn't put out anywhere near the amount of airflow that these new bgears b-Blasters do. I've learned the hard way that, while Lian Li makes beautiful cases, their stock fans really suck. I've learned that, sooner or later, I will want to replace all of the stock Lian Li case fans with better ones. For 80mm fans, these bgears b-Blasters will be my "GoTo" fans for case cooling from now on. BTW - I also love the Cougar 120mm case fans [N82E16835553012] for the same purpose. I love their Blue LED's. And they are quiet too.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Fans Move TONS Of Air

Pros: Excellent 80mm fans that move tons of air!!! Excellent static pressure and airflow. Installed them into an Infocus IN78 DLP 720p projector and they keep the thing cool and running. Before, the stock old fans would keep the projector running for 20mins and it would overheat. I've run the projector with these fans for hours now trying to catch up on Game of Thrones with no issues. Fans are definitely not quiet, but not that loud either, like other users have reported.

Cons: Fan construction is of lower quality materials and finish, but not made of bamboo like some other users have reported. I've had no problems with fins breaking off or pulling out cables, but I only hit the gym twice a week, so that may be the root cause.

Other Thoughts: These fans have no speed control built in. No PWM or voltage control at all. They have two speeds: Off and Full-Blast-Super-Cold! Which for me is fine because I needed them to run at full blast. If you need fans that are speed variable please look for PWM or voltage controlled fans.

3 out of 5 eggsUpdate to old review

Pros: The fans do push a lot of air, can't say much after that as there is little special about the design or the quality of it.

Cons: My main beef and it can't be stress enough is overall quality. One of my fans broke on installation. Another of mine after a few months broke cause the wire was filmsy and came off when I switched it to another spot. If the fan blades were higher quality as well as the wires I wouldn't be making complaints.

Other Thoughts: No I do not wish rma fans this cheap considering shipping will cost as much as the fans did.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The fan did work, The reason I gave it a 2 egg rating was newegg has great customer service and is always willing to help! they are a top notch company and stand behind the products. Thanks Newegg! Ill be back.

Cons: Fan Speed signal output did not work from day 1,

Other Thoughts: It seems that there is no QC on this product, The reason I purchased this fan was the high cfm! Im running Aero Cool touch2100 fan controller and needed the signal output for my control unit so it was usless for my needs.

4 out of 5 eggsGood when it works

Pros: Bought this two replace 3 other coolers I has been using for a core 2 duo setup. Since I'm on ivy bridge wanted more air moving around and the fans will do that granted they work. These really do move air compared to other 80mm fans I've been using over the years or a pci slot cooler I have from another brand.

Cons: Very flimsy blades be careful when installing as they can break as easily as a cracker can. One of my three fans had a blade came off within the first four hours of working and came shipped.

Other Thoughts: Price and performance are great granted it comes shipped in good condition.

4 out of 5 eggsPushes a Ton of air

Pros: Keeps my GPU very cool. Using this fan as an intake and it dropped my GPU down by 20C!!!! Thats exactly why i got it!

Cons: Very Loud. I have it hooked up to the power supply so i cant control the speed and its pretty loud. im newish to computers so i figure eh, how loud can it be since im not one to complain about fan noise but WOW! haha. Didnt know such a small little guy could make so much noise. If your sensitive to fan noise, this is not the fan for you
