1 out of 5 eggsKilled Motherboard

Pros: Came in clean box, all parts. Worked very well at first - started allowing overheating withing three months.

Cons: Loss of viability within three months, allowed massive spike in temperature that killed my ASUS 990FX Crosshair MOB. Asking for an RMA from both ASUS and Corsair - so far ASUS is of course doing their best to deny. Corsair is asking a lot of questions right now, lets see if they will honor their 1 year refurbished warranty. Replaced the MOB with a Sabertooth 990fx for now but having the same problem - 55 C+ at POST.

Other Thoughts: You would think that this product would work - I've heard no complaints, however I'm not regretting purchasing as a refurbished unit. Should have purchased new product.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat cooler

Pros: -Low temps
-Noiseless
-Easy to install

Cons: -Cables could be a little longer; there isn't enough slack to go behind the motherboard with a couple of the attachments.

Other Thoughts: I am not a big overclocker, but I really like how cool this keeps my CPU.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Refurbished? What's the difference? Does exactly as advertised and more!

Cons: Expect the price to go up...oh wait it already did!

Other Thoughts: Make sure you case takes 240mm radiators. Fit my mini ATX with no problem...

5 out of 5 eggsLooks brand spanking new and was so worth it over an air cooler.

Pros: Couldn't find a single visual flaw out of the box and performs amazing. My first PC build and at idle with the pump at 100% and the fans around 50% it barely makes a hum and my 15 4690k with the boost clock upped to 4GHz stays at 30C.

Cons: Had to use some wire sleeves as spacers on the back plate since it and the pump block could wiggle after install, and I didn't have any plastic washers. Will get some and reinstall since my thermal paste hadn't arrived yet.

Other Thoughts: Haven't installed the corsair link software as I've heard mixed praises and curses for it. When I overclock the cpu and stress test it I'll see how the radiator fans perform without it.

5 out of 5 eggsFirst water cooler

Pros: Keeps my FX8350 ice cool under load.

Cons: Some hardware installation issues, incorrect length screws, and had to use some extra flat washers. CorsairLink software is not worth installing.

Other Thoughts: My first experience with a water cooler system, other than the issues with the software and the installation instructions, I was overall pleased with this product and its performance.

5 out of 5 eggsCorsair H100i Cooler (refurbed)

Pros: Given all of the negative feedback from people who receive these units leaking into the shipment boxes when they get their order, I was really hesitant about ordering this. I'm glad I didn't wait until the price went up. This is probably the only refurbished unit from any company that I'll ever give a 5-Egg rating for. After determining where (and how) to mount this in our new Define R4 case, we removed the factory applied paste from the copper water block,, and applied MX-4 carbon paste to the FX8350, and fired it up. After revving up for a few seconds (which I expected, and is documented, but scares the people who aren't looking for it to happen) the cooler worked, and worked well. I would recommend this cooler to anyone who has the AMD FX-8350 or otherwarm-blooded processor. As long as it isn't leaking when it arrives or after you turn it on, it probably will last a long time. Disclaimer; if you overclock, beware; all bets are off; still, I wouldn't even try to overclock without this unit. I've seen reviewers who have pushed the limits of sanity using these, but I wouldn't try it with air coolers.

Cons: It wasn't $20 or cheaper, but even Corsair has to pay employees. Seriously, no cons except one nit-picker; whoever did the refurb forgot to throw in the bag containing the mounting bracket; the poor fellow answering the phones at Corsair hadn't ever had that happen to him yet, but he shipped us the mounting bracket and parts, and everything was just ducky after that. This was a sweet deal, on sale with free holiday shipping and the Iron Egg Shield during the holidays

Other Thoughts: I researched all the pre-fab water cooling systems, and viewed Youtube videos on them until I was blue (depressed, not the color). Though there are other good coolers on the market, the refurb price niche worked; it came at the right time and now I'd never go back to air-cooling; after 25 years of swearing by expensive, hot blowers with dual fans, now I wondered why I waited so long....must be fear of water leaking on the board. There will always be nay-sayers when it comes to water cooling; I was one of them, but now, I've changed my ways. This has been a very quet and reliable cooler, going on 3 months with no problems. Buy one when it's on sale, or when the new units are on sale and you need one. Quit blowing hot air in the house, unless you need a heater.. Buy one, or two.

5 out of 5 eggsSuper COOL & QUIET

Pros: Super COOL & QUIET. Case temp is normally in the mid 80s and the Intel i5 is in the upper 70s to low 80s. Enjoy the Corsair Link as well as it gives you good insight into temps and fan speeds.

Cons: Radiator & Fan assembly is pretty big but, this is the larger Hydro and should be expected.

Other Thoughts: I'm running it in a Corsair Carbide SPEC-03 case (mid size) and it is a tight fit but, works well in the top vent.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks good.
Easy to install.
Feels like quality.

Cons: Has increased temperatures.
Very loud.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this cooler as my Zalman air cooling solution was starting to wear out. I bought a refurbished unit thinking that it would have had special care from the manufacturer in it's repair. Unfortunately since installing the unit my stock-clocked i7 3820 has gone from an average temperature of 30C at idle to 50C at idle. The Corsair unit is also extremely loud all the time. Much louder than my air cooled Zalman.

I have remounted the unit several times making sure it is seated correctly and even used Artic Silver thermal grease. Nothing changed temperature-wise.

I have removed my other fans and reversed them trying different airflow patterns through the case and still didn't have any luck lowering temperatures.

I've confirmed the pump is running. The unit is working, but not well. I'm disappointed with this product as I've had multiple other Corsair products that worked very well.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks well, but not out-of-the-box

Pros: Once installed correctly, does a very good job of cooling. For those with the Rosewill RISE cases, the installation of the radiator at the top inside of the case is very easy, as long as you do not have an optical drive in the 5.25" bays.

Temperatures are very good.

Cons: The backplate for my 1150 Core i7 was loose, even with the connectors installed all the way down.

This led to an initially poor contact between the CPU and the water block. You simply cannot tighten it enough to make complete, good contact.

I had to use 2 stainless steel washers on each post, between the backplate and the back of the motherboard, to achieve proper contact between CPU and waterblock.

If you order this, pick up some washers at your local hardware store (metal or plastic/nylon, depending on board layout and possible exposed traces or solder points) before it's delivered so you do not have to run out for them if needed after your computer is apart.

Other Thoughts: Good value, and completely blows the Hyper 212 Evo air cooler at full load, which is to be expected, once it's installed properly.
