5 out of 5 eggsCorsair H100i Refurbished

Pros: First off, props to Corsair on their refurbished products. Mine looked like a brand new unit. All fans, screws, brackets, cables, etc all arrived neatly packaged.

Processor: Intel i7 4790K
Mobo: ASUS Z97 Formula VII

Upgraded from a Cooler Master Hyper 212+, which was doing the job just fine, but I wanted to OC a bit more. With this setup, I had the 4790k @ 4.5Ghz, w/ 1.22 volts. Idle temps were around 40c, load temps approaching mid 80c

I installed the H100i with 4 Fans, in a push pull in my AIR540 case.
Idle temps dropped to the low 30c, load temps never passed 70c. I bumped the clocked speed to 4.7Ghz, w/ 1.32 volts, and load temps reached 80c.

Overall very satisfied with the product. The Corsair logo on the pump does have an LED in it, which can be changed with the Corsair Link Application. (If you can get it installed, see Cons)

Cons: The biggest gripe I had with this was the software that is supposed to be used with it. Corsair Link would not recognize the H100i. I had to do research and a few registry edits to get it working. But after that, Link now runs properly and I can view pretty much all my system info, from Pump stats, system temps, cpu load, etc.

Fan leads that power the fans are on top of the pump. Luckily I was able to hide the cables, but for some, it may be a nuisance. There is also a necessary mini usb cable that connects to the side of the pump and down to a usb header on your motherboard. Again, hard to hide, but not too bad.

3 out of 5 eggsDissapointed.

Pros: Low price
Looks Brand new
Keeps cpu at reasonable temps
Easy installation
Fits perfectly in my Phantom 410 case

Cons: I'm so dissapointed about corsair link software, wich is one of the reasons I bought this product, Can't control the fans rpm, can't change the led color. Fan are so loud, you can't even imagine how loud they are, They make grinding noise. I tryied to steup the fans on the motherboard, but I cant even control the fans with speedfan software.

Other Thoughts: Waiting to see if corsair will fix these problems.
As soon as I'm concerned it seem to be a problem with those h100i and h80i

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy

Pros: Very easy to install. Very silent on normal loads

Cons: Corsair Link and Windows 8.1 doesn't seem to get along very well. It took me well over a day to finally get corsair link to detect my H100i.

Double check and make sure your case is compatible with this cooler. You may have to drill extra holes to make room

Other Thoughts: This is a refurbished product. You'd never know looking at it though. It came in the original box with a refurb sticker on the bottom of it. All of the cables were included.

5 out of 5 eggsRefurbished: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i CW-9060009-WW/RF Water Cooler

Pros: Keeps 9370 at constant idle on 20C
Does not look used/refurbished
Link software worked no problem
Awesome LED customization for temps

Cons: None - see other thoughts

Other Thoughts: I purchase the g skill ripjawz and did not realiz that the fans for pus pull would not fit. This was my mistake for not researching more.
System specs:
fx 9370
GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 (rev 4)
G.SKILL Ripjaws X
Silicon Power SSD (great ssd for the price btw)
R9 290x (reference w arctic cooler)
Rosewill 1000w psu (80+Bronze)
Ultra Rouge m925 (this was my mistake thinking h100i would fit but with some customization it did)

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent deal!

Pros: - Almost impossible to tell it was refurb
- Keeps my 4790k at around 30C idle and 65C under heavy load (OC'd to 4.6ghz)
- Looks awesome
- Bought on sale for $65 :)

Cons: - Gets pretty loud under extreme loads, but that's to be expected

Other Thoughts: If this is on sale, buy it now. You won't find a better refurbished H100i for this cheap anywhere else!

5 out of 5 eggsCannot get my CPU temp higher than 28C

Pros: - Temps are so low that I am actually worried I damaged a sensor when installing this
Idles at 12C. Averages around 16C with normal use. Prime95 can't push it past 28C

- It was easy enough to install on AMD. I like the clip system that is used for AMD. It feels very secure and mechanically makes sense for aligning the block properly onto the CPU.

- Corsair link is awesome. Takes one USB header and costs about 55mb running in the tray which is pretty light. Interface gives you complete control of the 4 total fans you can connect to the pump header. Not limited to 4 pin PWM; 3 pin fan headers CAN be controlled.

- Very quiet. Not silent, but I can't hear it over my GPU fans without manually ramping up the fans. They stay around 1200-1500rpm with normal use.

Cons: - This is not a con relatively speaking, but a downside to the choice. The hoses are fairly stiff (this is actually a very good thing, it ensures you can't mess it up) and it takes a fair amount of force to get the block and radiator to go where you need them.

- Radiator is a little larger than two 120mm fans, in order to accommodate pump tubing. This should be obvious but it did dictate the orientation of the radiator in my mid-size case. The top had to be fed through my drive bay, forcing me to use it on my CPU and choose a different cooler for my GPU (I'm fine with this I planned to get a cooler for both.)

Other Thoughts: Super cool B)

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Refurbished but it looks like new
Silent pump
Looks good on my rig
Not bad for the discount price
Fast shipping

Cons: The instructions mention nothing about how to install on a lga 1366, box says it supports lga 1366. I had to experiment with the different standoff's as it only mentions lga 1155/1150/2011. So I had to remove the paste from the pump to try it on both set's of standoff's , Turns out the 2011 standoff's work for the 1366. Once installed and running I notice that one of the fans it growling at me , even on low settings so I scrapped the fans and used some coolermaster fans I had. Finally it is quite. I deducted one egg for leaving me to guess on what standoff's to use(Lucky I had extra thermal paste) and also for the growling fan that came with the kit.

Other Thoughts: Overall I am happy with the product , Premium fans for that price is not expected, as most people swap them out anyhow.
The link software is ok , if I restart my pc it leaves me with pink led on the pump ...
.. someone trying to tell me something ?
Installing was a hassle unless I had known the right standoff's to use. I had a push pull config at first and noticed a idle temp on a overclocked cpu at 19c in a 77f room. After I removing the bad fan's I was left with a push config and I saw 21c in a 77f room at idle. Not bad for an older i7920 oc@3.33ghz . It is a 5c to 8c less difference from my coolermaster v-8 who never saw the cpu go over 48c playing BF4 so I expect this to do a little better with only a push config. Will be getting new fans for push pull. I would recommend this cooler, aside from the bad fans the pump is dead quite and it cools well

5 out of 5 eggscooooooollld

Pros: Got this in anticipation of upgrading to an i7-4790k after the holidays. It's currently being used on an i3-4330, and it's keeping my CPU as low as 16C, which is just above ambient room temperature. I keep my room pretty cool, but as I said I'm anticipating a k-series CPU so I will be overclocking like mad.
Unit and packaging was immaculate. As others have stated, it's impossible to distinguish from a new unit aside from the "refurbished" sticker at the bottom of theblx.

Cons: None really. Some pump noise at startup but that goes away. Installation could be a problem if you only have two hands at your disposal. Luckily I had the girlfriend (she ranted about how she'd break things and how she'd owe me sssoooo much money if she messed up at first, then gave in and held it in place for me)
It should also be noted that it does connect to your system via internal USB header, along with a Mini USB (not micro) port on the pump itself. Personally I had all my USB 2.0 headers taken up, so I took a standard cable and wired it outside my case through one of the rubber grommets into a back panel USB port.

Other Thoughts: I'm running this in a Cooler Master HAF 932 with the solid window side panel. Lucky find at Value Village a few months ago ($10 :o !)
Fits perfectly on the top panel. Also I'm running a Push/pull (unnecessary, I know. But I wanted it that way)
