Pros: Quiet and cools well as to be expected. Works well in low profile case, depending on processor location and ducting. This heatsink may work in a 2U rack mounted case.
Cons: Not easly installed/uninstalled. It prevents use on Channel B Dimm 1 on my Asus Maximus III Gene. I could not have it and my optical drive in a Moncaso 312B.
Other Thoughts: I tested this on my bench, after a the time consuming install it worked nice. But I could not connect my optical drive with this heatsink. So I'll use it in another system, rather than eat S&H + the restocking fee. I like it enough I will try a smaller version in the HTPC.

Good low profile cooler

Pros: Low profile Good quality Fairly quiet
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I changed out the stock OEM fan for a higher cfm and quieter PWM fan. Dropped the load temps an extra 5c over the stock setup. Overall this is a good cooler for a HTPC, it is not as close to as good as my Cooler Master Hyoper 212+ which is actually cheaper, but my HTPC only offered 88mm of clearance, so this cooler fit the bill and dropped OCCT load temps by over 20c over the stock cooler for my Athlon II X3.
Mounting for AMD is super easy and takes only a couple moments to get a nice secure mount. Cooler is also well made with a nice lightly polished base. If you have limited clearance, the Scythe Big Shuriken should be on your short list of CPU coolers to look at.

Excellent for HTPC

Pros: This easily fits a GA-MA78GM-S2H motherboard, but will block the first set of ram sockets. It offers an extremely quiet solution on a Phenom II 705e. The 120mm fan is operating within 600-900RPM at idle and load, respectively. The low height and strong cooling solution make it a great choice for a Media Center build.
Cons: The fan was very large and there was a degree of difficutly trying to fit the mounting brackets with the power supply in the case. The first ram sockets being blocked dampers future memory upgrades.
