2 out of 5 eggsNot a good choice

Pros: very quiet

Cons: tape does not adhere , no matter what I tried the eraser ,alcohol etc. had to use third party tape... solved heat sink issue. the manufacturer site says it will fit my card..... nope it dosent . so had to modify it ... very annoyed. the sound level delivers as it says , the compatibility is not as good as the maker claims...(not the sellers fault) ..I wish I would have just ordered another water block.....

Other Thoughts: the seller did all they claimed, as did newegg, the product just fell short of my preferred quality and expectations....

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great!

Pros: Very quiet, extremely effective, easy to install, reusable.

Cons: Very hard to use in a micro ATX case.

Other Thoughts: I used this heat sync on an overclocked 9800, brought the temp. from 93 degrees C down to 30. Since I've been able to use it on 2 other cards making it a great buy.

2 out of 5 eggsBlah experience

Pros: Great reviews and high hopes. Solid heatsinks and they stick well so far. Sorry for the negative review, but the fans did not work. Wanted to buy a replacement fan setup for cheap from the company, but it's overseas and doesn't use paypal as a form of payment. I have a problem with overseas companies and my credit card. This is the first time I needed an after market gpu cooler and it's for an XFX card, first I have ever used and it will be the last. I have used Sapphire, HIS and powercolor and have never had a problem with them. More sapphire then any of them and I swear by sapphire. I decided to try an XFX on a whim and learned a big lesson.....their cooling is far from good.

Cons: Fans did not work on molex setup. High hopes, but I gambled by ordering online and lost this round. I'M NOT OUT YET!!!! New egg gets another sale, just not one of these again.

Other Thoughts: Put his on an XFX 6870 and it fit very nicely, but only has a 2pin fan plug. Thanks XFX for being cheap on the fan. I used the molex setup and read the instructions for it and Wha-la, non working fans. I know all things don't work 100% of the time, but rma time vs working time? I ordered N82E16835192026 to place under it so I will have a working vid card. This vid card is costing way to much to get working again thx to XFX who decided to stop emailing details on an rma to fix their broken fan in the first place. Couple that with a broken fan setup with this gadget, *sigh*, I'm just glad so many love this thing. Don't let me discourage you, just adding a review that lets you know that this might not work from jump street.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat cooling, bad heatsinks

Pros: Great cooling compared to stock SAPPHIRE HD4870 cooler.
Incredibly quiet even when at 100%.

Cons: VRM/RAM heatsinks do not stick well.

Other Thoughts: All in all, great cooler for my HD4870 after the stock one died.
Lowered temps from around 60C idle, 90C load to 35C idle, 60C load.

The one big issue which made me knock off two eggs is the included RAM/VRM heatsinks. They come with peel off thermal adhesive tape, and they don't hold at all. Plan to purchase your own thermal adhesive for them.

5 out of 5 eggswill not fit gtx 670

Pros: decent price!
cool's well
dropped my max temp 14c from 84c load to 70c load
quite fans

Cons: I listened to a reviewer of this product saying he bought this for his gtx670 FTW and that it fit but was tight...well my msi gtx670 didnt come close to bad for not researching more..

Other Thoughts: I made this work on my gtx670, i got 2 of the 4 screws to match in a diagonal patern, so the 2 diagonal screws held it tight enough to work, then my 2 pci-e plugs was very VERY tight fit as well, once installed/modded/rigged it did drop my temp's very well ...would recommend to other's! not for GTX 670! not for GTX 670!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks on HD5850Asus

Pros: fits my Asus 5850. Dual fan is wayyyyyy more efficient. Comes with 4 and 3 pin 12v/7v connector, and come with thermal past applied to main heat-sink. My temps went from 47/93 to 38/57.

Cons: Buy thermal adhesive, the smaller heat sinks will come off because thermal tape is just not efficient.

Other Thoughts: For maximum cooling, remove thermal tape on all heatsinks and use actual "thermal adhesive". Ensure proper fan placement to vent

3 out of 5 eggsMy bad...

Pros: It's not as expensive or as large as other coolers, but I can't speak on cooling performance.

Cons: I wasn't absolutely positive this cooler would be compatible with my video card, an EVGA GTX 560 superclocked, and it turns out it was not. That doesn't detract from the quality this product, I just couldn't find anywhere whether or not this cooler was compatible with a 560, and I want to let you all know it is not. My bad, and somewhat Arctic's, for not putting out a specific compatibility list.

Other Thoughts: This won't be a huge issue, I'll be initiating the return process as soon as I'm done with this review and I'm sure newegg will get me my money back, I pulled off the stock heatsink and the thermal paste was all dried and cracked, so I just replaced that, and hopefully my card will stay cool enough to run safely through the summer.

5 out of 5 eggstwin turbo pro

Pros: cools way better than expected and very quiet.

Cons: price...I'm super cheap, i wish this were >30 bucks. I wanted to give it 4 eggs because of the price, but decided on 5 because it cools better than I thought it would and its really quiet.

Other Thoughts: Bought an ATI HD 4870 from eebay for $45, and quickly realized why. This ran really hot, about 5 or 10 minutes into a game would just shut off. Bought this fan and now my temps show like 46 to 49, even when i've been playing a game for an hour or two. and it's also really quiet. So I guess I ended up paying 92 bucks for an HD 4870 that works well. The fan works better than I expected.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome Air Cooler!!

Pros: Picked this up for my GTX670 F T W card after playing with it for a few weeks. Mainly played Skyrim at 5040x1050 and temps were reaching 79-80 max. It might be safe but I wanted lower since I am used to water cooling temps. Was nervous this would not fit and it was very tight, the power connectors are actually wedged right up against the cooler, but it does fit. Played for about 3 hours and max temps dropped to 58, now idles at approx 29 vs 38 to 40 on the stock cooler. I did not use the included paste as I read many people had trouble, and I had some left over from other heatsinks and it worked great for me. Can't speak to the paste included, but I would recommend getting some that you don't need to mix if it is a concern.

Cons: Only con is that it is not a perfect fit. Maybe it just happens to be my F T W moedel, and I hope the pressure on the power connectors does not cause long term issues, but it does not seem to bad so I'll keep it for now.

Other Thoughts: I might end up watercooling eventually again, I can never stay away no matter how many times I try, but this cooler is very very quiet, and does a terrific job cooling. I only docked an egg for the tight fit even though it is listed as compatable.

To everyone that claims this is a complicated install, it is not worse than most other VGA coolers I have installed and no worse than a full coverage waterblock. Just take your time, have patience and make sure to give the heatsinks time to cure. If the paste that comes with it is that bad, pick up some that is already mixed, it's like an extra 3-4 dollars.
