The compact-sized Freezer 11 LP brings low noise cooling into low profile and HTPC Systems. With a height of 53 mm only, the cooler squeezes into even the tiniest PC cases.

  • newegg Compact and Lightweight With dimensions of 115 (L) x 106 (W) x 53 (H) mm, having a weight of only 255 g, the Freezer 11 LP is extremely compact. It fits virtually into any low profile PC case and is the ideal choice for any HTPC system.
  • newegg Reliable Cooling Performance Equipped with an ultra-quiet 92 mm PWM fan and two copper heatpipes, the Freezer 11 LP offers a maximum cooling capacity of 100 Watts. The dual high performance 6 mm heatpipes efficiently dissipate the heat from the CPU into the block consisting of 50 aluminum fins.
  • newegg Quick Installation The unique mounting system via push pins offers excellent stability and is applicable within minutes. The pre-applied ARCTIC MX-4 thermal compound makes the installation a clean process. The cooler is compatible with Intels socket 1155*, 1156 and 775. (*May not be compatible with all Mini-ITX mainboards.)
  • newegg Whisper-Quiet The Freezer 11 LP is a very quiet cooling solution. Even when the fan is spinning at its full speed at 2,000 RPM, the low noise impeller in the 92 mm PWM fan makes the entire operation to be nearly inaudible. The exclusive fan holder design reduces the unwanted noise by absorbing the vibration from the spinning impeller as well.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage (literally)

Pros: I cannot think of any, it's decent looking?

Cons: I was in the market for a quiet solution to replace my stock i3 cooler. After reading reviews I purchased this. I don't know if I had a defective one, but this thing was actually a good bit louder, and my CPU temp jumped up to around 80 degrees. For days I tried adjusting the fan speed, didn't really make a difference.

I just replaced this with the Noctua NH-L9i 95mm SSO2 CPU Cooler, which I'm extremely happy that I did. This Noctua is extremely quiet, and even with the low-noise adapter on, my CPU is now around 38 degrees.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for basic slim tower

Pros: -Much better than stock coolers
-Quiet
-Easy install
-No movement if installed properly
-Pre applied thermal compound

Cons: -Does not fit well with memory that has a big heat spreader on most mATX boards, that's more of a tip than a con so im not gonna knock an egg for that.

Other Thoughts: Ive used about 9 of these now in recent slim tower builds, these are basic builds nothing extreme. They are used in offices so they are running 24/7 and the room temps aren't great. In the previous 3 I have built its been in cases with only front and back venting and does the job fine. I have had zero issues with the 9 ive bought at different times so no inconsistency in quality. On the original 2 I used I had installed with Corsair Vengeance memory and it was too tight of a fit, I have switched to the Vengeance LP memory and it fits fine.

All slim tower mATX builds, 4 have been i3-4130, 2 have been i5-4570 and 3 have been i3-4150

I'll be continuing to use these on future LGA 1150 builds

1 out of 5 eggsToo tall

Pros: N/A

Cons: This cooler is taller than the stock Intel cooler for i7/LGA 1150. Don't know what about this cooler makes it "low profile" or "HTPC ready".
What's much worse is that the specified height (53mm) is shorter than the stock Intel one (60mm), and yet this cooler is taller than stock. This wasted a lot of time.

4 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Works well in mini-itx build. Cools i5-2500k in my mini-itx build well.

Cons: Is rather wide, be cautious of the motherboard you select to put this on. I used ASUS P8H61-I R2.0 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131878 ), where it almost blocks the PCI-E slot, and does block one RAM slot.

Other Thoughts: This was my first mini-itx build, just a warning to anyone considering doing a similar thing.

3 out of 5 eggsIts a cpu cooler

Pros: Better heat dissipation over OEM I think.. Good fan, quiet, fit, was easy to install

Cons: None at the moment

Other Thoughts: I did not notice a huge difference in CPU temps, inface it was a bit higher then I was expecting however its performing well and its quiet.

4 out of 5 eggsThis is not for ITX

Pros: Cooling is Great, Arctic Cooling is great for any price, quiet, efficient PWM Speed controlling.

Cons: Too big for my Cramped Mini ITX boards. Could not get it to fit in any configuration that I tried and used the Stock cooler instead.

Other Thoughts: Great cooler although it did not fit my needs it is great for larger than Mini ITX Motherboards. Memory gets in the way on one way and the video card gets in the way on the other. but if you are using a Micro or Regular sized ATX Board this would be a great Cooling solution for those with not a lot to spend on cooling but still want the quiet best performers.

4 out of 5 eggsKinda big for Low Profile...

Pros: Very quiet, it cools pretty well. With the stock fan my CPU ran at about 55C in my cramped ITX case and now it runs about 43C at idle (probably could have been lower but that was my fault, see Other thoughts).

Cons: It's much bigger than I had anticipated. I have a GA-H61N-USB3 ITX motherboard and the cooler covers one of the RAM slots and the copper tubing is pushing against the Graphics Card...so it just barely fits. Although the PSU originally sat on top of the stock cooling fan, it will not fit inside the case (Apex MI-008) with the cover on because the new cooler is so tall (I'd guess I would need another 7 or 8 millimeters of clearance to make it fit). So I guess I gotta buy a new case and just hope that I never need more than 8 gigs of RAM. The instructions should have been clearer as to what position the CPU Cooler needs to be in, so if you buy it, make sure that the copper tubing is facing against the GPU, not the memory, or else it will get stuck on the plastic brackets that are used in installation and the cooler will never touch the CPU.

Other Thoughts: The reason it still runs at 43C at idle is because the instructions weren't very clear, so I just thought that the reason the CPU temps were so high after putting the cooler in was because the thermal paste hadn't cured. Well woke up the next morning with temps at around 80C wondering whats up. I took the cooler out to see that only half of the CPU had paste on it. I turned the cooler 90 degrees and it went in perfectly...although this is AFTER the paste cured so if I bought some new compound It'd probably be in the 30's, but not their fault so I can't really take a star off for that. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is because the instructions could've been a little better and even though the dimensions were listed and I just assumed it would fit because it's low profile...I was wrong and paid for it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat bang for buck!

Pros: It's cheap, and one of the few remaining fans I could find for my i5 2550k. The stock fan I noticed recently was running my cores at 90*C while gaming, and I promptly went in search of a new fan. Decided to take a chance on this one, and am not disappointed at all! Doing the same exact things as before, the cores aren't going above 50*C!

Cons: None so far.

1 out of 5 eggsdidnt work out

Pros: Very Quiet

Cons: Black base brackets are cheap plastic, mounting pegs are hard to remove, cpu would over heat

Other Thoughts: After following instructions and installing the computer would turn off after 2-3 min (from overheating). The Fan is very quiet which is nice, but on removing the fan during troubleshooting one of the two black mounting brackets snapped (cheap plastic). And the black pegs are near impossible to remove from the mounting brackets, just bummed i wasted 30$ my previous cpu fan popped on off much easier than this
