The ARCTIC F PWM forwards the PWM signal from the CPU to the whole case ventilation system. With ARCTIC F PWM fan, your entire system delivers the superb performance while being cooled quietly.

  • newegg Versatile Applicable With the standard 25mm frame, the ARCTIC F PWM can be applied as intake or outtake system fan.
  • newegg Silent Operation Thanks to fluid dynamic bearing and the patented fan holder design, the ARCTIC F PWM is not only quiet, but also highly durable.
  • newegg Quick and Easy Setup Via the PWM signal, the CPU fan is controlled by the mainboard to reach the ideal temperature for the CPU. The exclusive PST (PWM Sharing Technology) is forwarding the PWM signal to all other fans inside the system. This way, all fans are spinning at the same speed. This provides silent operation in idle mode, but also gives sufficient performance, when required to offer efficient cooling.

5 out of 5 eggsquiet fan

Pros: really quiet fan for the price and does really good at keeping my CPU cool

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: I ordered this for my CPU heat sink along with a Arctic F9 Pro for my case fan it is extremely quiet all I hear is the graphics card fan running which is also quiet, nice fans, will buy more in future, the wiring wasn't to bad a little longer than what I needed it for, no big deal

5 out of 5 eggsNice quiet PWM fans

Pros: Very quiet, I have to stick my head within a foot of the case to even hear the things (I have 2 side by side).

Cons: I found the wiring to be both clumsy and overly engineered. its just a PWM header keep it simple. The Yellow RPM wire is separate from the other 3 wires and it is connected to a socket which then connects to your motherboard header. Too much extra wiring to hide. Out comes soldering Iron.

Other Thoughts: After fixing up the wire header the fans look/perform amazing.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet!

Pros: This a very quiet reasonably priced fan. I am replacing a screaming meany. Sometime it is the small things that make the biggest difference. I plan to use this brand for all my new builds.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: Measure twice and order once.

Pros: Nice and quiet. They seem to be holding up quite nicely. I bought 2 of them about 2-3 months ago.

Cons: None that I can think of.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet, Good Airflow

Pros: PWM capability at a reasonable price
Quality fan construction
Good airflow considering noise output. At max RPMs, not far removed from the screamers I replaced.
Quiet - This was my main consideration when purchasing these fans and they did not disappoint.
Can daisy chain if need be

Cons: Cheap cables/connectors - They are a bit cumbersome to route, especially if you have no need to daisy chain

Other Thoughts: I picked up 6 of these to replace the incredibly loud Delta fans in the Norco 4220 case. My server unfortunately needs to remain in the living area, and these Arctic fans make it next to inaudible. I have not yet fully populated the 4220 with drives, so we'll see if the reduced airflow has a negative impact on my temps. Thus far, with only a few bays occupied, my temps have remained consistent compared to the stock Deltas.

I would definitely buy again.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I purchased this item about week ago to use as an exhaust fan. It arrived quickly. Installation was straight forward. It runs quietly and efficiently. It was so quiet that i had to open the case and confirm that it was running.

Cons: None so far

4 out of 5 eggsGreat fan, quiet, PWM!

Pros: Great price for PWM! Quiet at max rpm.

Cons: Wiring the "PWM Sharing technology" is kinda funky and if you don't use it (as i think most won't) it just adds clutter. Not a huge con tho.

Also, would be nice if RPM maxed higher.

Other Thoughts: The "PWM Sharing" concept is to daisy chain multiple fans if only one 4-pin connector is available- so it comes with 4-pin, 3-pin and adapter. If you're not "sharing," just plug the 4-pin directly to the mobo- and then connect the extra 3-pin to the adapter, neatly tie and you should be good to go. (The directions are pictures only so figuring all this out took a few extra minutes)

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet and inexpensive

Pros: - Quiet
- Came with adapters and cables for any hookup
- PWM (4 pin) fan
- Price

Cons: - Doesn't report RPM to my BIOS

Other Thoughts: Bought this as the primary exhaust for my HTPC build.

This is a great fan that came with all of the accessories you could possibly need to power it. Runs quiet, moves a good bit of air. My only gripe is that it isn't reporting RPM to my BIOS or Speedfan, but I'm OK with the constant, quiet airflow this provides.
