3 out of 5 eggsCPU not cool

Pros: Cheap, easy to install, quiet.

Cons: For my i7 Haswell-E 5820 it didn't have enough cooling power. For a less demanding application it could be ok.

3 out of 5 eggsbasic heatsink

Pros: -price is very fair
-works for very basic installations
-quiet fan
-power cable is a great length

Cons: -the copper contact on the heatsink is circular and the cpu surface is square. the contact on the heatsink is much too small for the cpu and leaves much of the cpu with no contact to the heatsink. (the corners, maybe 70-80% coverage).
-the thermal paste that comes with the heatsink is poor quality and should be discarded. i highly recommend purchasing aftermarket, higher-end grease to compensate for the lack of coverage on the heatsink.
-there is a sticker on the copper contact that needs to be removed before operation. the adhesive on this sticker is very difficult to remove from the contact. i had to remove it with a razor and followup with rubbing alcohol and q-tips.

Other Thoughts: i think this heatsink is a good choice for a basic build, no overclocking and used in a well ventilated case. my build was throwing heat alarms until i applied a generous amount of arctic silver after cleaning the generic grease off the cpu and heatsink.

the sticker on the copper is huge problem with the current adhesive, very time consuming and almost made me rma the device. easily fixable by the manufacturer. the surface area on the copper should be increased and fitted to the cpu shape better to dissipate the heat better.

1 out of 5 eggsNo so sure about this

Pros: Quiet and compact. Very affordable.

Cons: Within 3 minutes the temperature ramps up to 66 C. This is very high for no load idle BIOS monitoring. Reapplied thermal paste and still very hot.

As another poster stated, the base on this is very small and doesn't make full contact with the CPU.

5 out of 5 eggsTitan TTC-NA43TZ/CU35 95mm Z-AXIS CPU Cooler

Pros: So I wasn't sure about buying this fan for my intel i7 4820k but I gotta tell you this thing is great! pretty compact compared to some of the other 2011 coolers out there. the 4820 run kinda hot but this fan has no prob keeping it cool. runs about 28-30c on idle and maybe 40c under load. really good if you ask me. GOOD BUY! went it really easy on a asus sabortooth x79

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsGood product

Pros: This fan was very easy to install and does a great job cooling my 2011 Intel i7 Quad-Cord processor. I have it installed on a ASUS Sabertooth X79 motherboard.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fan

Pros: Picked up this for a temp fan to setup my Asus Extreme Black and 4930K before I installed my water cooling loops. Running the 4930 @ 3.9 playing BF4 at max settings on a 780 GTX Ti. CPU temp maxed out at 74C after an hour of playing in a room that was around 72F. Its been a month and I still haven't installed my water cooling yet, but until I get a 4K monitor and another GTX, don't really need to since I'm getting 60+ FPS min and Avg around 90.

So, this is a good fan at a GREAT price if your not pushing the CPU too much. Would have never thought it would work this well.

Cons: None...

Other Thoughts: Buy this if you want a great, low cost option.

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Keeps my Intel Core i7-4820K running cool. Idles under 40 C, Never seen it go over 45 C.

I was worried about the Heatsink covering up the RAM slots on the ASRock X79 Extreme6, but not a problem with this one.

Cons: None.

4 out of 5 eggsOne Gotcha

Pros: This is a good little cooling unit. Performs well on my 6 core Sandy Bridge-E processor. Another plus is that it is not huge. This unit fit will on my micro ATX motherboard next to all the other components that are tightly compacted around it. If you are looking for a good cooler unit and don't have a lot of pace to spare this product is a good choice.

Cons: Won't support a ton of overclocking but if you tweak just a little you will be fine. Keep an eye on the CPU temps. There is a little piece of paper on the metal contact that you have to remove BEFORE placing the cooling fan assembly on top of the processor. I have not run into this before when building a machine so I didn't check. If you fail to remove it, like I did, you will see extremely high CPU temps! Just something to watch out for.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat temp(orary) cooler

Pros: Copper base
Fairly large for an Intel stock copy
Effective and quiet, considering what it is
Fits 2011 socket
Easy install

Cons: Copper base is only about one-third the size of 4930 CPU
Good only for stock speeds, but you already know that
White- a plus for my build but maybe not for you

Other Thoughts: Expressed this when my Silverstone TD02 cooler pump failed after two weeks. Installed in literally 2 minutes, including finding the TX-4 interface material leftover from the Silverstone install. Super-simple install. The low price and effectiveness has kept me from blowing a brain fuse at the Silverstone failure.

If you have deployed a socket 2011 with liquid cooling, I definitely recommend grabbing one of these as a backup.
