Rosewill RFA-80-RL 80mm 4 Red LEDs LED Case cooler

Pros: Quiet, moves lots of air, brilliant deep red colour which is exactly what I was looking for.

Cons: it doesn't make me sandwiches

Other Thoughts: I'm using this in my Apevia X-QPACK2 (it's small) case with Thermaltake's AF0030 120mm red LED fan that has the same beautiful deep red colour. Between the two, I am running a core i-7 on the stock fan without any heat problems.

Pros: Very bright. Aircraft circle the house now in landing patterns. Still, beats the old fan it replaced - case sounded like an aircraft about to take off w/ it.

Very quiet. LED's easy to cut if you don't like the lights. Greta fan for the low price I paid, just clip the LEDs if ya don't like them.

Cons: None.

Pros: Moves a lot of air, seeing 5-6°C difference with just one fan alone on GPU PCB. And the red LEDs are brilliant! It's a very bright, deep red; the fans look pinkish when unlit, but make no mistake, there's no pink about it when they're on. I'm most satisfied with the color.

Cons: I bought three at once, only using two so far but both make a rattling noise from a cold start, like a bad bearing or something. One started doing it after only a week of owning it, and my second one shortly followed after another week. After running for a couple of minutes, the noise stops, but it still shouldn't be making that noise. I don't know if I got a bad batch, but I'm subtracting an egg. This is the first time I havn't been completely satisfied with a Rosewill product.

Other Thoughts: Some say it's quiet, but I don't think so. They are just a tad over quiet, you can definitely hear them running anywhere in your room at normal volume levels. Not loud, but not quiet.

I recently got a fan speed controller, and dialed down to half speed, they're very quiet, almost can't hear them, even with your ear up to the case. I also take what appears to be no hit in cooling performance, and they also still glow the same bright red.

Under those circumstances with a fan speed controller, that is what makes these fans really great. They would easily be 5 eggs, but the noise at boot makes me wonder how long they will last me. Otherwise, this is a versatile, good performing product overall, for a reasonable price.

Other Thoughts: Considering the price I'm very pleased.
My case has a lot of (8) 80mm fans. I didn't want to exceed the rating of the board's 3 pin headers.
I emailed Rosewill for the power requirements and was VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED to get an almost immediate, accurate answer.
Rosewills tech support was a lot better than what I got for the $100+ board they are attached to.

Pros: It runs fast and pushes a lot of air. The Leds are very bright and has the same quality as a much more expensive product.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I have purchaced this fan for my self and for a lot of customers. I have a couple that are 4yrs old and full of gunk and they still work. I just got 5 of these for a server I was rebuilding and they run cool n quiet. this is a very nice product. I also noticed that the cable is now wraped with a black band (very nice) the older versions of this product did not have that. I will buy this fan as long as they make it, and I plan on 5 more for my #2 machine build in a couple weeks.

Pros: Very Bright--Solid Red (not pinkish)
8" cable is sleeved. Extension cable is not sleeved.

Other Thoughts: Cheap price, small packaging, sleek, vibrant LEDs, was impressed.

Pros: LEDs work well, and so does the fan. Great price!

Pros: Vibrant LEDs
Adequately quiet: I expect to hear something. After all it is a fan that spins at 2500 RPM and moves air; Think less than a hair dryer on low but louder than a DVD spinning up.

Affordable.

Cons: One died after 11 months; others still going strong.

Other Thoughts: I am ok with the lifespan for what I spent on it.
I have bought several of these in multiple colors for my kids' cases. The kids like the LEDs. It's a sleeve fan at a rock-bottom price usually with free shipping... for the price, it's a good value.
I have bought the 2-ball bearing version of these and I am happy with those also.

Pros: Does the job. Nice color. I would gladly buy these again if I needed more fans.

Cons: None at this time.

Pros: It's quiet, it pushes a lot of air and the lights are very bright and for the price you can't deny this deal.

Cons: Had a little trouble putting screws in, may be because of my case design but rest assured we know once it is in and working, it will probably won't be removed again.

Other Thoughts: I love Rosewill products and will always purchase stuff from them and thanks for their high quality designs and cheap pricing!
