3 out of 5 eggsWorks ok

Pros: Very low profile. Using it in M350 mini-ITX case that has limited clearance.

Cons: None really. Don't use for >65W cpus.

Other Thoughts: Heavier than it looks-must be the copper core. Temps for Intel G1610 Celeron are 32C at idle. About 10C higher under load. Pretty quiet.

4 out of 5 eggsgood deal

Pros: Better than I expected considering the cheap prices

Cons: makes you wish everything you buy was as good for as little money out of your pocket :-)

Other Thoughts: Good Job!

3 out of 5 eggsGood enough, for my last case at least

Pros: Compact, easy to install and CHEAP!!!

Cons: Not recommended unless your case has decent ventilation.

Other Thoughts: I recently moved across the country and did not have room for my bulky tower. I knew my brother would have an extra case laying around, so I gutted my machine and brought just the innards. Sadly, the only case he had only has 2 80mm fans that are past their prime(compared to my three 80mm and two 120mm). After surgery was complete, I turned on my PC...only to have it freeze up a few minutes later. Booted to the setup only to see that the core was running at 180F! Cleaned the small amount of dust from between the fins, changed out the thermal paste and.... it was still running at about 165F. Time for a new heatsink(and maybe a new case).

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for small enclosure

Pros: Great cooler for small enclosures. My mATX case required a low profile cooler due to the back of the optical drive hanging over it...this cooler is quiet and solved the problem nicely.

Cons: It's not a monster fan and monster heat sink. It's small and quiet. If you are building a gaming rig or any build that has intensive cpu use...this is probably not for you.

Other Thoughts: Ideal for HTPC builds where space is at a premium and you need a quiet fan.

3 out of 5 eggsOK for the Price

Pros: Perfect for 1U server or small htpc like Habey EMC-600SL

Quiet when PWM enabled, Loud when not

Install is easy

Cheap and effective (see cons)

Cons: Failed to cool Pentium G2020 and i3-2105 efficiently. Idle was about 40c (ambient of 25c) load was in the 70's. Compared to my Gelid Silence Slim (idle 27c load in 50's). It is an OK cooler for the price and will work.

The downfall of this cooler is the pushpin mounting system. If it was a screw/spring mount system it would be more effective (but probably then cost more).

Other Thoughts: overall it is good for the price, I have it on my G2020 running max fan RPM's in the server room as my firewall, so load isnt that high.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for small HTPC

Pros: Very nice solid copper core. Very quiet at HTPC distances. Cools 65Watt and below CPU perfectly for HTPC use. Small and sufficiently sturdy. Ideal for tight installs. An absolute steal for the price especially if you compare to others selling the identical product with a different brand name.

Cons: No install instructions. INTEL like pins a bit iffy to get locked into MB but when you figure it out it is super easy.

Other Thoughts: The only way to damage this HS getting it out of the box or installing it is to open the box with a hammer and try to install it with the same hammer. This is a very good product at a very good price.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works.

Very quiet, ultra low profile (shorter than IO by a long shot).

Cons: Doesn't move much air, or seem to have a very efficient design.

Most computers that utilize this won't have to worry about it. Cooled a core2duo just fine so.

Other Thoughts: Low profile, fan seems OK. Cheap. Worked great in my little server.
