1 out of 5 eggsShot myself in the foot

Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: The Instruction sheet was good but out of date, fan inoperative (ran slowly) and the clever rubber fan mounts were so cheap as to put my processor at risk.

Other Thoughts: Had to guess at how to assemble hardware for the Intel 1150, not listed in the instruction sheet (well done, but of date). Fan defective; to save days, I replaced myself (with Corsair AF 120). ..and don't trust the ultra cheap rubber tines that hold the fan, One day in place and already distorted !

I failed to learn the lesson with 3 prior Rosewill products. Stupid. NO MORE ROSEWILL

3 out of 5 eggsEh.

Pros: -Big Fan
-Multi-Socket fitting
-Good price at the time
-Fan comes off easily

Cons: -Huge pain to install the fan if you're on an AMD socket board.
-Fan is slower then normal CPU heatsinks
-CPU plate comes lose very often

Other Thoughts: During the first time I tried to install this I had a tad bit of thermal paste on the cpu and tried to install this. When I tried to take the fan off it wouldn't let go and actually pulled my eight-core out of the socket ripping pins out and making it useless. It's not a bad fan just make sure you have a lot of time on your hands for the install.

Pros: NONE

Cons: Fan only runs at about 500 RPM, all others that I have used run at about 1200 RPM, Rubber grommets that hold the fan on seem really cheep

Other Thoughts: I got this in a package deal, and can only return it if you have the original package, and of course it got tossed in the trash before I realized it was garbage, should of kept the box and tossed this CPU Cooler

1 out of 5 eggsStay Away

Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: Cheaply made plastic tabs would not lock the cooler base down to the motherboard (new MSI Z87-G41 and Intel Haswell i7-4770K CPU) and after several attempts two of the four simply broke. I ended up having to use the Intel fan that came with the CPU.

Other Thoughts: I like the design but the cheap plastic lock down tabs need work.

3 out of 5 eggsBIG

Pros: It works well and is very quiet thanks to the big slow moving fan. It also has a great big radiator design. Heat pipes feeding a truck sized radiator.

Cons: First I'm 44 and I've been building before MS was even a player. I get paid lots and lots of money for my engineering tips on computers so I'm no snot nosed kid with a geek icon.

This thing is too big for my silverstone case. It's nearly 2 inches taller than any other cooler. One reviewer said guys like me should have read the spec. (duh!) WELL THE 120X120 DOESN'T TELL YOU THAT THE COOLER STARtS counting the120MM FAN AT 1 INCH ABOVE THE MATING SURFACE OR THAT THE HEAT PIPES STAND 1/2 INCH ABOVE THE COOLING FINS. It could have been designed to look less cool and work 'more'better... I mean come on Rosewill read a standard, do a little systems integration testing or something...

3 out of 5 eggsUnimpressed

Pros: Quiet

Cons: When benchmarked it did not compare favorably against the stock AMD heatssink/fan despite it's enormous size.

Other Thoughts: Makes a midtower uncomfortably cramped, requires removal to plug in a number of cables.

5 out of 5 eggsgood heatsink

Pros: Easy installation and keeps temps cool

Cons: The included fan isn't that great input on a noctua fan and its perfect now

Other Thoughts: Temps are at 32 idle and load was 46 on a i7 3700k buy it

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!!! Heatsink

Pros: This was included in my combo deal and it works greats. Temps idle-28c and 41-43c under load playing BF3. Works great with my Intel I5 cpu.

Cons: Even though this is a great heatsink, I just upgraded to the new Phanteks PH-TC14PE_BL 140mm UFB (Updraft Floating Balance) CPU Cooler which is a BEAST!!!

Other Thoughts: none

5 out of 5 eggsGood choice for overclocking

Pros: This CPU cooler is not only well designed it is extremely efficient for the price. Over the years I have installed several CPU coolers of similar design and they have all preformed as well or better than advertised.

The copper heat pipes draw the heat away from the CPU and dissipate it easily through the aluminum fins. This allows for a stable overclocking providing you aren't trying to go overboard.

Cons: With this heat pipe stile cooler the application of thermal compound is slightly different than with other stiles. The copper heat pipes are slightly flattened round tubes of copper in a aluminum block, it is not completely smooth or flat as other types of heat sinks. Therefore they require a "small "amount of additional thermal compound to fill any gaps.

Other Thoughts: The only problem I have concerning this CPU Cooler is the negative feedback being left here that removed eggs because of the Coolers size. It's just not fair to penalize Newegg.com because the product you purchased was too big for your liking when the size was stated as being "120 x 120 x 25mm" in the products description.

5 out of 5 eggsTerrific Product

Pros: Works great, my cpu never goes above 60 degrees and I have an ivy bridge i5 3570k at 4.2 Gigahertz. It's also very quiet.

Cons: Kinda big.

Other Thoughts: Anyone who says that it "is horrible at keeping the cpu cool" either doesnt know how to apply thermal paste, or overclocked to like 6.0 gigahertz.
