Pros: Quiet

Cons: When benchmarked it did not compare favorably against the stock AMD heatssink/fan despite it's enormous size.

Other Thoughts: Makes a midtower uncomfortably cramped, requires removal to plug in a number of cables.

Pros: Easy installation and keeps temps cool

Cons: The included fan isn't that great input on a noctua fan and its perfect now

Other Thoughts: Temps are at 32 idle and load was 46 on a i7 3700k buy it

Pros: This was included in my combo deal and it works greats. Temps idle-28c and 41-43c under load playing BF3. Works great with my Intel I5 cpu.

Cons: Even though this is a great heatsink, I just upgraded to the new Phanteks PH-TC14PE_BL 140mm UFB (Updraft Floating Balance) CPU Cooler which is a BEAST!!!

Other Thoughts: none

Pros: This CPU cooler is not only well designed it is extremely efficient for the price. Over the years I have installed several CPU coolers of similar design and they have all preformed as well or better than advertised.

The copper heat pipes draw the heat away from the CPU and dissipate it easily through the aluminum fins. This allows for a stable overclocking providing you aren't trying to go overboard.

Cons: With this heat pipe stile cooler the application of thermal compound is slightly different than with other stiles. The copper heat pipes are slightly flattened round tubes of copper in a aluminum block, it is not completely smooth or flat as other types of heat sinks. Therefore they require a "small "amount of additional thermal compound to fill any gaps.

Other Thoughts: The only problem I have concerning this CPU Cooler is the negative feedback being left here that removed eggs because of the Coolers size. It's just not fair to penalize Newegg.com because the product you purchased was too big for your liking when the size was stated as being "120 x 120 x 25mm" in the products description.

Pros: Works great, my cpu never goes above 60 degrees and I have an ivy bridge i5 3570k at 4.2 Gigahertz. It's also very quiet.

Cons: Kinda big.

Other Thoughts: Anyone who says that it "is horrible at keeping the cpu cool" either doesnt know how to apply thermal paste, or overclocked to like 6.0 gigahertz.

Pros: Can't really comment on cooling performance till I run some benches. It's pretty easy to install, and the sound dampening hookup on the fan seems to work according to my phone's decibel meter.

Cons: Less of a comment on the item itself than the combo I got it in. Picked this up via combo 1166346 with a Rosewill LINE GLOW Mid-tower (person I built it for didn't want a full tower, or I'd have gone with something bigger, and just ignored the combos) but sort of expected it all to work together, as a combo. The CPU cooler actually is too large, and the copper ends of the heatsink bump up against the case's window. So, size is an issue here if you're building in a smaller case.

Pros: Does what its supposed too.

Cons: With the AMD CPU adapter, the fan either has to blow from the bottom of the case or the top. Not a huge deal, but it would have been nice not to have to block airflow through my case

Pros: Pretty easy and quick install. Very quiet and looks good in your box.

Cons: Is horrible at keeping the CPU cool, the entire point of the product. I installed it and my computer has never ran a video game for longer than 30 minutes. I watched the temperature sky rocket as i played the game, only for the computer to shut down.

Yes i did buy arctic silver 5 and only applied a small amount. Still my CPU would reach 82 celsius and shut down.
