5 out of 5 eggsI like it!

Pros: Keeps the sticks cool, and it LOOKS cool too! Easy to install and holds on fine.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Why do people complain about such silly things like the color or intensity of LEDs on computer parts. Oh, it's too bright. I can't fall asleep at night, etc. etc. etc. Find something else to moan about, please.

3 out of 5 eggsdidnt get to use it

Pros: see other thoughts

Cons: see other thoughts

Other Thoughts: after i ordered this and it had come to my house i was going to put in on my computer but it wouldn't fit. i had read the other reviews so i was aware that it took a decent amount of force to get the arms where they are supposed to go but what i had forgotten to do was measure to see if my CPU cooler was too big. it was, i use a asus m4a79 deluxe mother board with a cooler master v8 cpu fan. the memory cooler is too wide and will not go onto the mother board because the CPU cooler is too large. i guess that is my fault for not measuring the dimensions but for anyone else with that motherboard and CPU cooler combo this is a no go.

3 out of 5 eggsOne fan borked

Pros: Fits fine over two sets of muskin redline triple channel DDR3 kits. A bit snug but fit alongside a push/pull venomous X setup on my ASUS P6X58D.

Cons: One of the two fans hits just on the inside of the fan frame and so it doesn't spin until you start it and even then it makes noise. I'm going to try and file it down, it's really not worth spending half the cost of the module to ship it for RMA to get replaced. I've had a ticket open with OCZ, no response yet.

Other Thoughts: People complaining about how it being a tight fit are trying to put it on directly rather then walking it down the memory retention arms.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello, we are sorry for the problem. We will happy to replace your unit. Our support staff will take good care of you.
Thank you

3 out of 5 eggsGood idea, but too large of a footprint.

Pros: Looks nifty, unquestionably increases airflow to memory. Unfortunately, I do not have the temperature comparisons to emphasize this further.

Cons: The issue that I have is that it's just too bulky of a product. The metal piece that hooks over the memory clips actually makes contact with components on the video card. I'm using an Intel DP55WG with an EVGA GTX260.

Other Thoughts: When the fan was connected it ran fine, but I was untimately uncomfortable with the component contact so I pulled it from my system. If you intend to purchase this item, just make sure your memory slots are away from your PCIE slot. At least I am in process of building a new system that this can be utilized with.

2 out of 5 eggsKinda Useless piece of....

Pros: I think it is working, but I haven't noticed an improvement or a decrease in performance. Fits nice on the memory slot on my EVGA LE Mobo and doens't get in the way of any thing or cause any clearance problems. Pretty cheap and pretty cheap.

Cons: 1 fan only works when on the "low" setting, the other has to be manual started like an old propeller plane and even then sometimes it won't go. Both work in High but it is kinda loud on that setting.

Other Thoughts: Unless you are an OCZ "gotta have" try something else.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello, a fan will not ensure faster performance from your memory, although under extreme overclocking conditions it can definitely help. Memory life can also be improved with lower operating temperatures.
Thank you

2 out of 5 eggsocz ram cooler

Pros: Looks very sexii in my haf 932, cools my ram and provides a nice blue glow

Cons: the fans are noisy as hell, I have replaced this unit 3 times in the last 5 months and getting tired of it... the first one i got started making tons of noise within 2 weeks, the 2nd one i got a few months out of before i returned it however after a month it would make noise for the first ten mins it was on... I would lube the bearings but just got sick of it, finally the 3rd one had 1 of the fans spinning poorly, would knock around.... tryed repairing the fans... no luck... they are produced very poorly and I do not recommend this product to anybody... they are probably the worst fans I have ever used, they are the loudest in my case... I have decided to take it out of my pc for now cause i cant stand the start up noise and am going to replace the fans with a diff make, as I do love how it looks in my case

Other Thoughts: all in all, OCZ hasnt kepted me as a customer... from 3/4 dead on arrival packs of ram...that if they do post they give memtest errors... or if they post and dont give errors they work flawlessly then all the sudden youll be crusin and get tons of hang... you think its windows but its not...and finally there lousy keyboards and power supplys.. they claim to test everything by hand, Iam just having a hard time beliving it.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: This thing works very well at keeping my 8gb of OCZ Reaper cool. It makes no contact with your memory, just the retainers!

Cons: I've seen complains that this is very hard to get snapped over the retainers for your memory, that wasn't a problem if you walk it on from on end to the middle. It seems just a little loose once in place it can me moved and wiggled around.

5 out of 5 eggsNice cooler

Pros: It's a RAM cooler. Fits over my Reaper nicely, cools well and the blue LEDs are sweet. Can't say too much more.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Another good product from OCZ. I have pics of it installed on EggXpert.

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Quiet, Bright LEDS. It actually works, before my 8gb of ram would burn me to the touch, but now, they are only warm to the touch.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: my video card would heat up my ram, this keeps my 5870 from ever heating it up.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Love the black brush metal finish and the BRIGHT blue leds. Fan speed drop the temp a good 5 degrees running BF2. But 1 problem.

Cons: If you have an Asus Silent Square EVO cpu cooler with Asus M3N72-D mobo you might have trouble with the OCZ cooler going in. It is too wide for the ram and the SSQ cpu cooler. Had to put mine in kinda at a slat to get it to clip on the ram locks. I have OCZ reaper ram with long cooling tubes at the top. You also might have trouble with the arms that go over the ram I had to spread my out a little to get them over my ram locks.

Other Thoughts: This seems to be a great cooler for the price and the performance. Just must make sure you check the measurements ahead of time. Ill give this 4 eggs.
