Nice Cooler

- Other Thoughts: Running my Athlon II x4 620 cool and stable without overclocking. Will be basis for Server 2008 Hpyer-V R2 VM host. w/8gb of DDR2 800 RAM. Smoking fast, currently boots 2008 R2 Enterprise in about 35 seconds.
Best sub-125mm tall HSF
- Pros: Includes mounts for additional 92mm fan on opposite side - HUGE pro
Inexpensive with the rebate ($15)
Able to fit in narrow cases where the 120mm core contact wouldn't - this one is 122mm tall
Cools as well or better as the other heatpipe direct contact HSF
- Cons: Fins aren't soldered to the heatpipes... guessing it's hard to bond alum to copper
Stock fan is pretty weak... 2200 rpm.. but quiet.
- Other Thoughts: This thing rocks! It brought my Phenom II 720BE temps way down. from 42c/57c idle/load to 28c/39c. And that's at at 3.6ghz @ 1.525v... air cooled!

- Pros: Room temps were 23c for my results.

- Other Thoughts: I have a mid tower case that cannot fit a 120mm cpu cooler. So I had to look for 92mm coolers. This things ROCKS!!! It allows me to overclock and still maintain lower temperatures than stock settings with stock cooler. Also allows me to face the cooler towards the rear of my case so my exhaust fans carry out the heat. I did not use fan controller. I plugged it into to CPU fan slot in motherboard and am able to control RPMs through BIOS/AMD OD.
