WOW
- Pros: Hey you get what you pay for! This fan is DISCUUUUUUSTING!!! ...well its like a server fan. Its a good thing I have wires on the back of my case otherwise it surely would fly right off the desk. Talk about pushing air!
- Cons: none dude! its loud just like all the other posts note, if you've ever wondered what 56.4 dBA sound like... it's like a vaccum cleaner on crack only its sitting on the desk right next to your ear. Standing 5 feet away from my closed office door I can hear my workstation is up and running =] ...i wonder how long it would be before my wife snaps all of a sudden... ...hehe, she just came in, stood in the door way, looked at me and said "really?" . ..."CAN YOU HEAR ME???"
- Other Thoughts: If you are looking to turn your box into a wind tunnel look no further, (however I have seen a few fans that go over 220CFM). dont expect to put this in your living room unless thats your office, you live by your self, and nobody comes over. ... not that there is anything wrong with that.... people are overated....
- Pros: This bad boy moves tons of air...it rocks!! Swaped out the 120mm fan from an acer easystore window home server and it reduced the cpu and HD temps almost 10c...nice
- Cons: Loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mine is in a rack in my basement so i cant hear it but there is no way you put this fan in a box in a living area..too loud.this is an idustrial fan, not a home owner fan!!!
Freakishly Powerful
- Pros: First off.. Bought an open box of this fan and O·M·G this thing moves some air! *listed @ ±150cfm*
I ordered the rest of the Eggs stock of OpenBox of these (cause Im cheap like that ;p) and replacing all of my home server/rack fans with these. Just the first one I bought dropped my case temps by 10ºC!
- Cons: They are loud.. REALLY freakin loud. But, my server sits in a closet rack anyway, so no big. If putting these in a home sys, don't have it next to you without earplugs IMO.
- Other Thoughts: All metal construction (including blades), and no, like most other fans, there is no guard/cover on the one side *looks down at other poster*, so be careful as you CAN cut yourself with these.. aka: NO TOUCHY! I am looking at replacing my HS fan with one of these as I like the thought of icicles forming on my proc! ;p

The Delta 120 x 25mm Extreme High-Speed Fan is an outrageously high performance fan that moves over 150 cubic feet of air every minute, the highest CFM 120x25mm fan readily available. It also has an amazing near 3:1 airflow to noise ratio. The 120mm EH features the same directional fin design characteristic of FFB series. The fan has RPM TAC output through its 3 Pin connector. |
