Pros: high cfm

Cons: the fact that you have to either use the horrid looking included fan controller or splice and hack a wiring harness to use your own fan controller.

Other Thoughts: if you want to use your own fan controller, clip the wiring off of the silverstone controller, plug that into socket on the fan, clip the plug off of the yellow rpm wire, then solder those 3 wires to a 3 wire plug clipped from another fan. i gave a low rating due to the fact that i had to do this to get these to work without having to use the silverstone controllers.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: On high this fan can move a mass amount of air.

Cons: Way to loud, if you set it low so its quiet, it doesn't move much air at all.

Other Thoughts: Buy something else unless you don't care about the noise. Theres no happy medium with this fan...

4 out of 5 eggsMoves alot of air

Pros: Great fan if you need to move a lot of air. The variable speed controller is great. it dropped the case temp 5 degrees.

Cons: Even at the lowest setting on speed control it is a bit noisy. It does not sound like 17db, more like 30db

Other Thoughts: Do not use if you want a quite fan for htpc.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Quality construction with nice aluminum fan controller, black which matches my case. I used this fan to replace/upgrade the one that came on my Thermaltake Silent 939 cooler. Dropped my idle temps 5 Deg C @ 3000 RPM. Have plenty more RPM if I ever need it.

Cons: The controller could not be mounted on the front of my case because it is too short to fit the drive rails. Silverstone sells an extension bracket for the controller online but I just stuck it in my case securely.

Other Thoughts: Quality of the plastic feels like higher quality than my Thermaltake 92mm fan I have @ the rear of my case. Quieter slightly as well. Though the rear has nice blue LED and flows slightly more CFM.
