Question 1

Are these suitable for cooling my Hyper 212 plus heat sink in a push pull configuration? because I am gettting a Fractal R4 case tomorrow and need a new heat sink fan/now fans replacement.

Keep the stock fan on the Hyper 212!  SilenX recommends its fans be used as case fans only!  Their thermistor throttle function is not recommended for CPU use!  The fans must see 12V at all times and are NOT designed to interface with a fan controller!

However, you may be able to add a second fan in either a push or a pull configuration (whatever complements the fan on the Hyper 212) provided it is connected to a fan socket on the motherboard that is not a voltage controller, and you are not restricting air-flow in any way - try only at your own risk - CPUs have a very low heat tolerance and will burn out with virtually no warning.  Good luck.  As CASE fans, though, these are the best I have used, reasonably silent, and pretty.

How long is the wire for this fan?

I don't know the exact length, but I can tell you that I installed the fan on the side cover and there was enough length that I could remove the cover and easily unplug it from the power supply. With the rubber mounts, the fan is very quiet. I hope this helps

Hello I am currently using the Fractal Define R4 chassis and I have windowed side panel version of this case. I use a blue led lit 120mm fan on the Hyper 212 plus heat sink I have for my cpu. I also use a 140mm blue led Cooler master silent series fan(which is pretty quiet and good as an exhaust fan). I am currently looking for another 120mm fan preferably blue led and silent with some good airflow because the 140mm mount for the bottom of the chassis is take up by my overly long psu, and this mount can also mount a 120 mm fan. Now  I am wanting to know if these fans are both quiet and solid air flow case fans? and if the blue led is a nice blue lighting ?  because I had bought R2 silent series 140mm fans that I cannot use because of the psu and want something that is a good and quiet 120mm fan, and these were recommended from a friend.

Patrick, I bought 2 of these 120mm blue fans for a build I was doing for a friend. I ended up not installing them. The airflow is decent, not outstanding. The blue hue is a soft blue, not bright. The deciding factor though was the irritating hum they make... definitely NOT silent! It was very audible even at reduced RPM. I am running a Coolermaster 932 watercooled rig with 3 120mm, 2 140mm and a 200mm fan. I connected one of the SilenX fans to test and I could hear it above all the rest. I recommend you look elsewhere but if you decide to go that way, I have 2 that you can have REAL cheap.

They include a rubber "pull-thru" mounting tab.  Accomplishes the same objective.
