Pros: Did lower temp by 2 degrees. DD3 at stock 1866. But...

Cons: Not worth the extra noise. The noise was noticeable over the case fans.

Other Thoughts: Not worth the RMA effort for me.

Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. The dual 3,500 RPM fans should cool your memory down much more than 2 degrees, and they should be near silent. Noise should not be louder than other case fans, so you may have received a bad one. Please contact the G.Skill support team to rectify this issue. With the memory fan mounted on the memory slots, warm air will be pushed out to maintain a cool area. Otherwise, heat can be trapped in the memory area and cause other parts to be warmer as well. Once you have a good memory fan properly installed, you will be very pleased with the result.

Pros: It cools my overclocked ram set fairly well, it looks cool.

Cons: Firstly it has to be modded to work on my mobo due to the placement of the USB 3.0 cable port. Secondly it has a fair amount of whine high pitch, and is very bright. It was putting off a very loud hum like a buzz, was able to fix with some foam tape on the back, again it needs to be modded to live with. Only dropped the 1 egg off because of these issues, not everyone out there is going to be willing to mod this cooler.

Other Thoughts: It's not bad at all, but its not great. If you don't mind cutting and pasting and modding this product to fit your need it is a good cooler.

Pros: Works as intended. Moves a good bit of air. Led's are nice although very bright see cons and other thoughts.

Cons: Led's Very bright (see other thoughts). Not the sturdiest connection.

Other Thoughts: I broke off 4 of the leds total and it worked like a charm. Light level is perfect illuminates my case but I can still sleep without it lighting up the entire room.

Pros: nice look to em and they blow air! memory has not had a problem and w the fans i have less to worry about. blue lighting as well.

Pros: I rated it 5 eggs for one reason...it will definitely help keep your ram cooler if it fits. I have a sabertooth 990fx/gen3 r2.0 and the heatsink on the motherboard is too close to the ram clips for it to actually clip in place...now i have a dremel and with a little sanding down i think it will work.

Cons: my con is stated above but if your northbridge heatsink is atleast a half inch away from the ram clips your gonna be just fine...and glad you purchased this.

Other Thoughts: it is a taller fan unit for people who use the larger ram sticks with big heatspreaders...i use 32 gigs of patriot viper 1600mhz ram and its relatively smaller. so when i get it to fit it will sit a little high but still do exactly what its meant to.

Pros: Quiet and reliable! not much of a noise difference putting it into my case but in saying that i should say most of the time i have my fan control cranked up for gaming. when fans are on low in my case i hear next to no sound!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: wish they came in different colours!

3. G. Skill Badged for all 3x my G Skill Equipped Rigs!!!

Cons: Maybe Clearence if you have large CPU Cooler!!! (I Use Cooler Master Hyper212 variations) SO NUN FOR ME!!!!
No switch for Blue lights in Fans!!!
Does add a bit of sound, but I'll take that vs. hot O.C. Ram!!!

I got my first one when they were only paired with the FLARE series!!!!

Pros: Works well, looks good, inexpensive, simple install, what's not to like.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Big bang for the low-buck outlay. Adds some light to the box and cools your memory, too. Cheap thrills.

Pros: Quiet, no vibrations, plenty of clearance for taller heat spreaders

Cons: Blue LEDs

Other Thoughts: RAM was excessively hot prior to purchase, has cooled things down quite a bit.
