5 out of 5 eggsWorking Well

Pros: A full year later and these fans are still spinning and providing good cooling in my case. In my set up, they seem to be nearly silent. Other pros:
Match my NZXT Source 210 case color scheme
Don't have ridiculous LED's

Cons: It would be nice if there were extension cables for the motherboard connector, but this is so minor its hardly worth mentioning

2 out of 5 eggsGood for rebate price, Bad for retail

Pros: Super cheap.
White fans can be hard to find if you're looking for that.

Cons: Does not hit its rated 59 CFM. Less powerful and a bit louder than others at $5-10 range.

CHEAP build quality. Blades are such inconsistent size, you can feel it wobble just spinning by hand. Powered up, it shakes. 3mm difference from shortest to longest blade. This makes it noisy and will quickly wear out the cheap sleeve bearing (Call it rifle or hydro-dynamic if you will, it's a cheap sleeve).

Gap between blades and housing is HUGE as well. Blade design is poor. Gap between blades is too big for 800-1200 RPM, very inefficient, edges are poorly shaped and squared off. You'd do well to hand-file them to an edge to improve the sound and flow, but it's not worth putting work into something so bad to begin with.

Other Thoughts: Seriously, you guys? 5 eggs? It's 3 at best given the discount. This fan is garbage and the only thing making it worth buying is the deeply discounted rebate price.

Go with a CM or TT instead. I got this as a two buck backup and will be using the TT that came with my case. There's a reason for the discount. Take advantage of that, or leave it alone.

5 out of 5 eggsCool Fan

Pros: Quiet, good air flow, easy to connect, INEXPENSIVE.
It has better air flow than my others that are much larger.

Some reviewers did not liked the two connectors. For me it was great. I didn't want to disconnect all the cables to move the computer out. In a confined space, connecting the 3 pin on the board, amongst the all the cards, wasn't easy. I said forget it, found a free Molex (4 pin) and I was done is seconds.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Screw holes are not pre-threaded. It's been a long time since I built my rigs. Maybe none are. But before you do the install, put in a screw (and take it out) to thread the holes, it will make the case work easier.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good fan for the price.

Pros: I have 5 of these in my case. Quiet, clean looking fans that move a lot of air for a very good price point.

Cons: Only bad thing I have to say, and this is cause I don't like clutter.. But I don't like that the molex connector can not be removed from the fan. Other fans I've had it's optional to have a molex connector.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks nice and is sturdy. Molex and 3 pin fan connectors built into the fan wire so no extra connectors required. Wire is a decent length.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: For the price you can't too much of a better fan than this.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Replacement For Stock Fam!

Pros: This fan replaced my stock 140mm on my Rosewill Challenger (top fan). It's quiet and pushes the air out well. I have it wokring in tandem with 4x Cougar CF-T12S4. I replaced the front and rear stock fans and added two to the side panel blowing in.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsflawless? probably

Pros: minimum noise with maximum airflow, can't even hear them running on max, mounted horizontally on the top of my cm 690 as exhaust.
sale price right now is excellent

Cons: the molex connector is hard wired, but not an issue for me since I'm not terribly concerned with appearances

you could probably just cut it off if you wanted to

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Case Fan

Pros: Very quiet. Good quality cabling.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I was looking for a good case fan to go into my Fractal Design XL case, when I stumbled across this. I have to say that the Alphawing fan is just as good as the Fractal fans. It is just as quiet, and almost looks identical to the Fractal case fans. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet, but powerful, 140mm fan.

4 out of 5 eggsNice basic fans.

Pros: They are quite quiet, they push a pretty decent amount of air out. THe white color of the blades looks cool in a white case but just as good in a black case (like the NZXT ones that include a fan with white blades in them). I am a little nitpicky when it comes to noise and quality, so you can probably overlook my Cons section if you are on the borderline of buying them.

Cons: They may seem a little bit too "whooshy" without a fan controller, the blades do not spin in a completely perfect circle, and if you put the voltage too low on your fan controller, it may not start spinning after Windows comes out of sleep state. Basically, for the price I am a tiny bit bugged.

Other Thoughts: I used two in a top facing position in a NZXT 210 case (the $40 one with tons of fan holes). They blow out enough air and are quiet enough, but the quality lags a little. Considering I got some of the Cougar 140mm and used those as well, I would spend the extra money on those over these. But, for a budget build, these definitely do the job.
