Following the success of our Spectre™ Fan Series, Spectre Pro ups the ante with an all-new design and enhanced performance. The high pressure and CFM design produces wicked cooling and is also perfect for watercooling setups. Its dual frame construction not only looks great, but also helps to dampen vibrations that cause unnecessary noise. Reinforced fan blades prevent warping at high RPM levels, while focused airflow ensures cool air can reach all of your installed components. With FDB technology for low noise and long life, and availability in both LED and non-LED varieties, Spectre Pro is the new gold standard in performance case fans.

Harness the fury with the Spectre Pro Fan Series.

2 out of 5 eggsHAF but noisy

Pros: It does moves a lot of air evenly

Cons: Extremely loud for a large performance fan more than twice as loud than the 2 stock 120mm that came with my case (same Manufacture)

Other Thoughts: no speed control to try and reduce the fan noise

5 out of 5 eggsNice fan

Pros: I bought this fan for an NZXT Phantom case. It fits very nicely. I also bought a fan from the case manufacturer in case this didn't fit. This BitFenix fan puts out more air and is half as loud. I highly recommend this fan.

Cons: It could be cheaper, but it's a quiet 200mm fan.

Other Thoughts: Lots of air with little noise at average cost.

4 out of 5 eggsBig fan, big air

Pros: Moves a good amount of air even at low speed

Cons: Louder than expected on full speed
The rubber holders that come with it are pretty useless, screws hold it much better

Other Thoughts: I installed it as a replacement for the front intake fan of my Corsair 600T. It fits quite well but you'll need to move the hard drive tray next to the PSU slot if you have not already done so. There are some DIY mods for installing it as a side fan. I do not believe it will work as a top fan since it is a bit too thick to squeeze in between the CPU cooler and case ceiling.

3 out of 5 eggsBrittle Fans

Pros: Great Fan and good amount of airflow

Cons: The blades are brittle. I bought these to replace my stock TT 200mm Case Fans. The cennecting point of the blades to the hub is brittle.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Quiet and pushes a good amount of air, lined up well with my case's(650D) mounting location, couldn't ask for more!

Cons: Comes with a few options for mounting hardware but I don't understand why the through the frame screw option didn't come with nuts as they don't thread into anything, making them useless. I ended up using the self tapping screws which worked out fine.

Other Thoughts: Excellent replacement for my Corsair 650D's front intake

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fan

Pros: Great Fans.. Lots of air but quiet even on full.
Decent Packaging, have some screws and some rubber prongs???., Used it to relocate my stock 600rpm Thermaltake front case fan to the top (now they are two 600rpm top fans) put this fan on the front and on the side.

Cons: No Manual, The rubber thingy that is included on the packaging which I don't know for what or how to use them.

1 out of 5 eggsApparently not compatible with my case.

Pros: Truthfully, none that I can think of. They look nice and the packaging was decent?

Cons: I bought 3 of these fans to replace the original 200mm fans in my Cooler Master HAF 922 case.

While installing the first fan on the grated side panel, 3 of the 4 screwheads stripped, despite only being inserted (for some ridiculous reason, the correct word is considered 'inappropriate' by NewEgg's automatic review checked) in 3/4 of the way. I tried #1 and a #2 screwdrivers, both fairly new and undamaged; both achieved the same result.

Despite that, I still tested the fan to see how it worked. The fan blades are very nearly flush to the edge of the frame, which caused the fan blades to scrape on the grating. The fan was set up as an intake.

I'm going to be returning these fans and sticking with my existing, and failing, fans until they finally die. When I do eventually replace them, it won't be with these fans.

Other Thoughts: Setting the fan up as an exhaust would fix the issue. Unfortunately, that would destroy the airflow in my case, as I'd have a single 120 blowing into the case and three 200s exhausting from the side, top, and front.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I have a Corsair 650D and noticed the fans it came with were quite cheap. I purchased a couple of these to replace the front intake fan and the exhaust fan on top of the case. The quality of these fans is quite excellent and they move a decent amount of air. I have also noticed around a 5c decrease in temperature with these new fans as well.

Cons: None really. Just be sure of measurements.

Other Thoughts: Not really a con, but make sure that if you are purchasing these to replace a front intake fan; you need to measure the space between you case and whatever else might be their... i.e. Drive bays, etc. My 650D Corsair has two removable drive bays in the bottom front of the case and needed to be removed to install the fan. Also where the drive bay mounts is not removable and this fan is a bit wider than the stock and fan and was a tight fit.

1 out of 5 eggsNot really a FDB

Pros: They look good and are reasonably quiet at 5v when operated vertically.

Cons: They are noisy if you mount them horizontally. I opened one up, and found there to be no seal for the fluid. There wasn't enough fuild to lubricate the thrust washer on one end of the shaft and that was causing noise.

Even worse, the other end of the shaft had an rubber o-ring on it instead of a thrust washer. I doubt that rubber will last very long when being spun against the grooves in the bearing.

Other Thoughts: This shouldn't be called a FDB, it is designed horribly.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat fan

Pros: The fan itself is very quiet and moves quite a bit of air. I have it in a HAF XB Pro pushing air out the top (mainly because the sides catch cat hair better than the top). The mounting holes for the fan don't match up with the holes on the case, but I have it zip-tied in place (rubber grommets in the case mounting holes and mesh in the top allow this easily).

Cons: None really. Not counting the mounting holes as a fault of the fan, there are seven potential mounting holes at each corner, just for some reason they don't match (in any configuration) with the holes on the case. 3-pin plug, so no speed control. I guess we can count that as a con, even though if it did have a hi-low speed, hi might burn out the other fans competing for the same air (GPU, CPU cooler, etc.). Also, for the one person that will ever need it, the fan does NOT fit if you mount an Asetek 120mm watercooler for the CPU. I tried. The top cover won't close. I ended up grinding off the very tip of the offending mount-foot, and it fits. Marginally.

Other Thoughts: The fan does what it's supposed to do. It's quiet. It moves the air effectively. It doesn't rattle or squeak. It doesn't fit the holes on the case. It crowds my water cooler. But I have no complaints. If this one breaks, I'll buy this one again. It's a fan.
