4 out of 5 eggsExtra options cause problems

Pros: I bought two of these fans for a new rig I was building. They work great and seem to be very sturdily built. With the fan control I have, they are very quiet. Mine have blue LED's and these are the brightest fan LED's I have bought.

They also have 3 sets of mounting holes at each corner so they can be used in a lot of unusual configurations.

Cons: Unfortunately for me, the case I bought has very tight clearances. The extra mounting holes in the fan housing block attaching the case top and front. I believe with a little Dremel work, I can get everything to fit.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT FAN

Pros: Great fan
easy mounting(came with screws and rubber mounts)
great airflow
bright but not TOO bright LEDs
LED on off switch
cool look

Cons: only con is that it gets somewhat loud at maximum rpm but it it worth it for airflow

Other Thoughts: I really wish they had this fan with ORANGE LEDs

4 out of 5 eggsStill good

Pros: Loved how much air my first one outputs and just had to replace my side door Megaflow fan with this baby,. Very pleased with it. Now I have two of these fans and two other CoolerMaster MegaFlow 200mm's.

Helps keep CPU and HD temps low and is quiet.

Cons: Construction of one corner isn't really all that great... shipped broken but still can use it. The mounting frame comes apart but was able to apply some super glue to it. Good as new

Other Thoughts: I have two of these crammed inside a HAF XM case. It does its job and does it well and quiet.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Moves air, not to loud..

Cons: No matter what combination only 2 out of 4 holes will line up with any of our cases, had to have it for my son's NZXT Phantom and if he could've stayed down longer I would've returned it! Did not like having to mod the case and the fan to make it fit properly!

Other Thoughts: I am really disappointed! I expected better than this from Bit Fenix now lets just see how long it last !

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Blows a ton of air into the case as an intake fan. It replaces a stock CoolerMaster RED LED fan that came with my HAF XM case. Fast, Silent, high CFM.. cant think of any complaints in those departments.

Cons: The 2pin cable extension apparently got crushed in manufacturing.. no issue tho as I cant use it anyways...

The LED power on/off is a female 2pin connector.. I cannot hook it up to my case because my case connection is unfortunately.. also a female. However, LED is on so its fine tho just an inconvenience.

Other Thoughts: For the use I got it for, it rocks however just took an egg off for the extension being crushed and the fact its actually a female 2pin which my case cannot hook up to... and they don't bundle a male to male adapter which would be nice considering the 2pin cable extension was crushed...

Still however well worth the purchase for its fan performance anyways. Almost done with my complete overhaul of my case fan cooling abilities.

5 out of 5 eggsI forgot to write a review!

Pros: I was researching computer parts for my buddy and was looking at parts I had and realized I hadn't wrote a review on this super fan. Well, I cant have that. This black/blue led fan replaced a clear/white led side door fan on a Corsair 500r. I ordered what I thought was a black cause blue LED set up....but I was wrong. Anyway! This fan puts out some crazy air. It says 900rpms but it lies. My system board and Corsair Link says its around 1100rpms. Its not very loud and is well built. I thought with it being a black fan that it wouldn't light up very well. I was wrong. The black fan with the blue led gives it a nice warm blue color. Love the fact it his lots of mounting holes. If it is ever on sale, get it. If its never on sale, get it. If your fan breaks down, get it. It might not be top name brand, but that doesn't mean it isn't top make.

Cons: Wish i had room for two!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Fan but Hard to Install

Pros: The fan is fairly quiet, at most i pick up on a slight whir sound if i'm really listening for it. It blows air much faster than my cooler master 200mm. I use it on the side port and it seems to be working well cooling my chipset and GPU.

Cons: Installing with the self tapping short screws is HARD. The plastic holes for installation are not tapped and you have to use the screws to tap them yourself. I ended up rounding off 4 screws just tapping it, then using another 4 for installation.

Other Thoughts: It won't fit the top 200mm fan soace for Cooler Master haf x, no big deal for me since i was looking for a side port fan.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Corsair 650D front fan replacement

Pros: Tons of mounting options (variable spaced holes)
Lots of mounting screws included (threaded for washers, self-tapping, and rubber grommets)
Multiple adapter cables included for power
The fan itself is a high quality unit
Multiple LED color options (this is blue, but red, and white exist, or no LEDs at all)

Cons: Can't think of any. The price is reflective of the quality you get. Maybe the one con is that it'd take some modding to try and get the 230x30mm model in my case? =)

Other Thoughts: There are not a huge number of options for Corsair 650D owners for the front 200mm fan, and the stock fan is somewhat loud at full speed, and a little flimsy.
The BitFenix Spectre Pro is quieter at its full 12v speed, and still moves more air than the stock Corsair fan. A lot of thought was put into this fan, and the packaged accessories and it shows.
