1 out of 5 eggsGets loud over time

Pros: Works for awhile, long warranty.

Cons: One of the fans started to get loud, then died so it got quieter. Now another is going.

Other Thoughts: Tried to RMA, but the process is much more painful than it should be. Not happy.

5 out of 5 eggsRAM Fan for a Dell 470

Pros: Easy to assemble, unit snaps snuggly on the RAM clips, it just works, no noticeable sound increase (but my PC runs pretty load as it is) ...

Cons: None for me, besides having to trim the power connector, which is not the fan's fault .

But I can see issues, if you have tight clearances over/around your memory. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if you accidentally unclip your RAM trying to get this in place.

Other Thoughts: I needed a memory fan to fully utilize all of the memory sockets on a old Dell Precision 470 that I liberated out of a dumpster and got running again : p
I bought this without realizing that the PC had a proprietary connector for the fan :( but with a little patience, care and an Exacto knife, I was able make the necessary adjustments and get the fan running!

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It keeps my my some what colder.

Cons: - 2 out of the 3 fans stopped working with-in the first 2 months.
- but before they went out, they were loud and always with a buzzing sound that even in my padded tower, was pretty audible.

Other Thoughts: I wish I would've gone with another brand.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: -Does a good job of cooling the ram
-Looks nice

Cons: -Fans are too noisy
-one of the fans recently started making a wining noise, I am going to try the newer CMXAF2 version

Other Thoughts: I would recommend a ram cooler like this to any PC gamer, it does a good job of keeping it cool and looks great. I just wouldn't recommend this one.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Well designed.
Braided power cable.
Easy to install.

Cons: Cheap components.

Other Thoughts: Works well, until . . .
The cheap fans go out of balance and start buzzing. LOUDLY.
Other than that, the unit works great.

3 out of 5 eggsNice design, Noisy Fan(s)

Pros: Nice sturdy build!

Cable is wrapped in black to match most modern day Gaming PC slick designs. Three fans, and does the job of keeping the ram cool alright!

Name Brand.

Cons: Not more than 1 week after having this running 24/7 in my PC/Server set up, one of the fans (can't tell which one) begins to rattle like crazy. Ugggh!!! You have to turn the fans off (I have a fan controller, and it rattles at any speed so it's not that) until they come to a complete stop, then turn them back on to get peace and quiet, maybe 5 minutes max of it before it starts up again. It ruins the overall appearance of the whole build because it's so darn noisy.

Also, the blue front does *not* come off easily. It's a sticker.. after peeling at it, I had to get GOO-B-GONE to clean up the sticky mess it left behind. I wanted an entirely black fan, not sure why they included the blue sticker in front.

Other Thoughts: I can't think of any other pros or cons at the moment. The noisy fan is really annoying though.. I suggest this if you have the higher up G.SKILL ram, especially if you are going to overclock, just because the computer will generally run a bit faster when it isn't under heated stress.
