1 out of 5 eggsnot good

Pros: i caught this fan on sale with free shipping.

Cons: it worked for one month now the blade is broke on one fan and the other fan keeps making this ticking noise like its hitting something but it is not.

Other Thoughts: i always buy my fans from newegg we have never had any problems but i have to say i wont buy these again they are not good

5 out of 5 eggsworked for 3yrs+

Pros: works

Cons: each manufacture uses different mount screw positions (for the grill and not the fan) so if you switch brands the holes may not align and new holes may need to be drilled :(

screws were a bit small for threading plastic(installing will put wear on the screw head so do not plan on dismounting and remounting often). Prethreaded parts or larger/longer/stronger screw would have been a plus.

Other Thoughts: if one day you find that your LEDs works but the fan stopped spinning, touch the center to see if it is warm, if it is try dismounting it and pealing the sealing sticker off a bit, then squirt some WD40 at the axel and put the sticker back in place(sticker reduces dust accumulation at motor). This got mine to start spinning again, thus prolonging the life beyond 3 years. (tell tale sign is if fan started to spin slower and slower for no reason before it completely stopped one day)

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: As with most large fans it is very quiet. The grill and fan lined up well. It came with all the screws I needed.

Cons: Also as with all large fans. It moves a lot of air and DUST. Make a note to clean the fan and the hardware about every 3-6 months depending on the environment. Granted, you should be doing that to your computer anyway.

Other Thoughts: You are going to laugh, but we actually use this fan at work on an old rackmount switch. We were running out of jacks in our office and decided to use the rackmount switch which ended up under my desk. Those fans are super LOUD. I cut a whole in the top of the switch, disconnected the screaming fans, did a little wiring to get this 250 to use one of the old fan plugs, and plugged her in. Whisper quiet. The switch never over heats. I wasn't able to get the fan mounted flush, so I doesn't look pretty, but it works great.

5 out of 5 eggsnicer than original

Pros: piece of cake to install...useful dual head plug (male & female) which makes it possible to wire up two fans in series... good airflow... moved more air than the original 250mm that was on my case

Cons: the price...$21 for a fan... ouch

Other Thoughts: really like it... have since purchased two more for a custom "coffin" case that i am building
