5 out of 5 eggsWorking well

Pros: Price was good, it's fairly quiet (i3 4170), fits in case. Make sure you clean off the plate if using your own thermal paste.

Cons: I'm not certain about this, and welcome explanation if I'm mistaken, but the fan seems to be blowing towards the front of my case, opposite case airflow. Is fan pulling air through the fins, or pushing it through? If the former, can I move it to the other side? All the images I see, and complaints, have to do with the RAM slots, which are almost always towards front of case.

4 out of 5 eggsGood product

Pros: Quiet, was relatively easy to install on Intel build, doesn't take a whole lot of space. CPU cooler that gets the job done.

Cons: Idles at about 40-44C, lowest temps are around 30-35C, but under full load cpu temps can go up to 70C. Not bad, but not great either.

Other Thoughts: I'd still recommend it, I've had for about 6 months so far and haven't had issues. So glad that I decided on Intel build this time, included AMD installation package looked scary.

5 out of 5 eggsHard to beat this cooler for higher-midrange applications

Pros: It fits like a glove - A lot of coolers block RAM slots, etc. This its right along side the RAM in two systems I installed them in
Nice fan - Fan is bigger than you'd think for a 120 MM, it's thicker, and has a tapered duct which improves airflow over the cooler
No need to pull MB - ok I'm lazy, but this was a nice one for me, the AMD mounts do not require removing the motherboard
Nice machining on the base/tubes - Fit and finish do count when it comes to contact surfaces
Helps keep case cooler too - This vents right at the rear case fan and works like a push/pull. Seems the whole case ventilates better
Keeps RAM cool too - The fan sits right next to the first RAM slot, and pulls air across the RAM very nicely
Price - got it on sale with a rebate (crossing fingers that goes smoothly

Cons: It is big - while it fit both systems I put it in. It did not leave a lot of excess space. I would not be surprised if some people have space issues.
Does pull on the MB a bit - it's not too heavy for its size, and does not use a back plate. For me that was a plus (see above laziness), but if you transport the PC much you might have issues.
Not quite enough for a big overclock - If you're looking for more much of an overclock you're probably looking at liquid cooling anyway right?

Other Thoughts: I put this in two FM2 based systems one with an a8 and one a10 @4.4GHz. Both ran hot on stock cooling. The a8 would lock up if the stock cooler got more than the tiniest amount of dust, and had been running case open to stay stable. The a10 was more stable despite the higher clock, but would have issues during video encoding if it was warmer, or clock raised a little. Both have been totally stable and much cooler since the upgrade. The a10 went through prime 95 and would not go above 48c the a8 was similar. Idle is around 30c for both (it's cool in the house, but this is still like 2c over case temp).

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Replaced my stock fan on Haswell with this product. Idle temps remained the same (30°C), but certainly has helped with load (dropped from 90°C to 60°C).

Cons: Installation was a bit of a challenge. I've never swapped out a fan before, and I had a bit of trouble aligning the mounting pins with the motherboard. I bent a the plastic ends of the pins, but was able to straighten them out.

4 out of 5 eggshard to install

Pros: keeps my 6700k at 25c at idle 65c under stress test at 4.4 ghz

Cons: it was really hard to get it to lock down on all four pins. been 2 weeks and my thumb tips still hurt! i hope it didnt bend my cpu doing that. its not getting hot so all is well, i hope any way.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: This cooler was very easy install. The comments saying you need a lot of pressure did not stand true. I installed mine with moderate push and its very snug. Keeping my AMD 6300 cool. Sorry do not have any temps on it right now. WHISPER quiet fan over the stock AMD fan, I can not even hear it as I'm typing this review. Very nice fan for the price.

Cons: Have not had any right off the bat after just installing this. Will update if the thing craps out or something.

Other Thoughts: All in all great cooler and whisper quiet. Very happy with my purchase.

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid at all costs

Pros: None

Cons: Inferior product. Don't even think of ordering. Plastic clips are useless and made of inferior materials. When you try to put them in the mounting holes they just bend. If you happen to get a clip in it just comes out when you try to put another clip in. I can't believe Newegg allows this product to be sold. I have been an A= certified tech for over 15 years and have assembled more computers than I can count and never have I come across anything as infuriating as this product

4 out of 5 eggsDEEPCOOL GAMMAXX 300 CPU Cooler 3 Heatpipes 120mm PWM Fan

Pros: I have this cooler now for 6 months on the i7 950Ghz it replaced the stock cooler temps under heavy load went from 57 degree to 41 celsius recommend this to anyone with older cases without a cut out on case.

Cons: None so far just a word of caution be careful with the push clips make sure you line them up with the hole in M/Board correct because its plastic it can bend and break very easy.

Other Thoughts: I removed 1 egg because of the push clips which are very flimsy other then that awesome cooler and great price.
