ZEROtherm's GX815 keeps your video card cool even during the hottest FPS gaming action. The universal mounting bracket lets you attach the cooler to most nVIDIA and ATi cards. The 32mm profile lets you use this cooler in SLi/CrossFire applications.
The large 6mm heatpipe connects the 120 copper fins to the polished copper heatsink, maximizing thermal transfer. Keeping your memory cool is as important as it is for the GPU the kit comes with high performance thermal grease and heat sinks for the memory chips.
A temperature sensor automatically adjusts fan speed between 1,200 and 3,000rpm. The dual ball bearing fan and efficient fin design keep noise to a low 18.5 to 33.8dBA, so all you hear is your game.

Wonderful cooler, works like a charm
- Pros: Installed this on ATI Radeon X1900XTX in under a half hour with nary a problem. Easy to install, card didn't bend at all like some reviews will tell you. Temps with stock cooling were 54 idle, 85 load. After installing the GX815, idle dropped to 40, and highest load I have seen is 59. The fan noise is near silent from 3 feet away upon startup, nowhere close to the dustbuster the stock cooler had. At load, the fan is audible, but is not enough to be distracting.
- Cons: None that I can think of yet.
- Other Thoughts: I like how the thermal sensor is built in, so there's no extra wirees and switches cluttering the innards of the case. Temps are
- Pros: Installation is incredibly simple, it cools extremely well, and it runs quiet. It's not terribly heavy either, and might even be lighter than the stock cooler on my card. It looks pretty good too, if that's an issue, and matches my Zalman CPU cooler nicely.
- Cons: The thermal adhesive pads on the RAM heatsinks seemed less than perfect. They held pretty well as I put them on, but they could be rotated in place without too much effort. I suspect the bond is intended to strengthen and become more permanent as the pad heats up and cools off, but I don't really know.
- Other Thoughts: I replaced my case and video card cooler at the same time, so my test wasn't exactly scientific, but the results were great! With the stock cooler on my GeForce 7800GTX, in an Antec Sonata with the side panel removed, the video card was idling at about 65 degrees, and regularly jumping over 90. With the ZEROtherm freshly installed (using arctic silver 3) in a closed Antec P180b, the video card idle temp dropped to 45 degrees!
Also, it took me longer to get the stock cooler off than it did to put this one on, and I've never replaced a GPU cooler before.
No hassles, and a 20 degree drop in idle temp made this well worth the relatively low cost. I would definitely buy another one of these!

Great Cooler
- Pros: Easy install. Heat sinks stuck well. All in all about 30 minutes to get it installed. Nice and quiet. Looks good.
- Cons: None
Update---AC on the VGA
- Pros: Buy this if you having cooling issues with your card. The Compatibility list is NOT complete, email the company they are quick to reply.
- Cons: One issue...if your mobo does not have a open 3 pin fan connection you will need to purchase an adapter with this unit. I would suggest 4 pin molex adapter to 3 pin fan adapter. Newegg sell these and you should have plenty available on your power supply.

AC on the VGA
- Pros: Impressed by this unit...my XFX 9800 GT is running 25 degrees cooler with the GX815 running on the card under a load. The stock XFX fan could not keep the unit cool under load, causing the card to shut down. Now I never get over 55 degrees under load...perfect solution!
- Cons: No heat sinks for the voltage regulators...small photos and print on the instructions.
