4 out of 5 eggsNot Bad

Pros: No need to remove motherboard
Quiet fan and nice led lights
Not as high as a Hyper 212 Plus so it fits more cases.
Way better than stock fan.

Cons: I got about 5 degrees lower at idle than stock and I was expecting a bit more.
It is a bit pricier than the competition. If room is not a problem, just go with hyper 212.

5 out of 5 eggsEGGCELLENT!!!!!!

Pros: Is super quiet and dropped my i7-860 Lynnfield temps by almost 10 degrees at idle, and well over 20 degrees with cpu maxed out.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Great cooler for the money!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent cooler

Pros: Very easy to install in a mid tower case with ASUS Intel MB. Excellent cooling ability and almost completely silent. Liked it so much I took it out of a custom 1156 build and put in my 1155.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Wanted to get several more but looks like NE discontinued them. I'll try Mfg site.

1 out of 5 eggsTrash

Pros: Sleek looking

Cons: Atrocious design for installation and absolutely pitiful at dissipating heat. After finally getting the unit seated properly, my i7 950 idled at 60 degrees. Tried multiple different angles - same result. Look elsewhere.

1 out of 5 eggsVery Noisy

Pros: None that I can think of - bought it because it was supposed to be quiet ("noise level under 19.5 dBA"), I'm building a HTPC.

Cons: Very loud. The box says the cooler's acoustic noise is under 29.5 dBA - more than Newegg indicates. The CPU cooler that came with my i3 processor seems to generate less than half the amount of decibels.

I cannot use it and will look into returning it (thinking about going fanless).

5 out of 5 eggsvery cooler

Pros: easy to install five minutes. im using this in a cmp2 memory music player and wanted to go fanless . of course i under clocked the cpu works like a dream at 90% cpu load temp settled at around 35c with the fan removed.

The size was a plus because I was having trouble finding a cooler no taller than 135mm to fit the silverstone case , this one fit the bill. does not cover memory slots or come in contact with mb components

great bang for buck

Cons: no cons

Other Thoughts: cant figure out why people are having trouble installing this component. oh well ........?

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quiet, What Some would consider Low Profile. See System Specs in "Other Thoughts" to see Why.

Cons: I Wish they had designed the Mounting System a Little bit better. The Clips would slide as I am trying to install. And it was also the cheap plastic which bent when I tried to thread it so that was 5 more minutes than it should have taken to install. The fins are very sharp (I cut myself twice on them

Other Thoughts: All in all, What should have taken 5-10 minutes to install took almost a half-hour due to the sliding of the mounts as well as the fact that 2 of them bent as I was doing it. But overall a good cooler:

1 out of 5 eggsdefect?

Pros: Looks good.

Cons: The fan has a high pitch whine.

Other Thoughts: the push pins are fine with a socket 775 mobo. installation was a breeze.

5 out of 5 eggsSimply amazing

Pros: Nice design. Blue LED looks fantastic. Fells solid and well built.
I was expecting this to be a good investment but I had no idea how good it was going to be. Upon installing the heatsink my CPU temp dropped almost 70 DEGREES!
I was not expecting such a drastic improvement in temp regulation truth be told and I'm blown away by how well this works.
Granted I've only been using it for a day but its been running all day and the temp hasnt fluctuated or gone all crazy or anything and has maintained a constant temp no matter what I'm doing.

Cons: Honestly nothing so far. The install was a breeze and the items works as it should.

Other Thoughts: Probably the best addition to my rig since putting it together.
