5 out of 5 eggsCool!

Pros: Looks good, Cools fine

Cons: Little noisy. I can remedy that with a controller.

Other Thoughts: Cooler Master HAF 932, ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition, Intel Core i7 4820K Ivy Bridge-E, ASUS GTX480, Corsair RM850 Modular.

4 out of 5 eggs1 good, 1 bad

Pros: Drives stay cool, even when the fans die. CONSIDERABLY cooler!!!

Cons: Fans make noise early - 9 months.

Other Thoughts: I've owned 2 of these awesome coolers for over 2 years. I'm still very satisfied, even with the one that has a dead fan. (Noisy at 9 months, never actually died) I removed the fan set from one, and because it's behind a 230mm fan in a CM HAF932, it still keeps temps on a 1.5TB Seagate 7200RPM at good levels.

OH...only 1 had the single noisy fan...the other is still pushing air quietly after 2 years.

2 out of 5 eggsFans slow down and make LOUD noises at the same time

Pros: Idle went from 35+ to around 20 C
under load, it keeps my hdd cool

Cons: After a week, one of the fans started making a loud noise. The only way to fix the noise without replacing the fan is to manually stop the fan and let it spin. The noise may go away after your first try, but sometimes I am trying to fix the problem for upwards of about 20 minutes. Once the sound is gone for a couple of minutes, the sound goes away, usually. It happens when I first boot, or randomly when I am using my PC.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Fan

Pros: Great design with plenty of pwr cord when you pull your drive out. Runs quiet enough.

Cons: none really

Other Thoughts: Could use longer screws for tooless HD mounts, so minus 1 egg to having to find screws.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Worked, well priced, and matched the color scheme of my build.

Cons: Incompatible with hard drive slot.

Other Thoughts: Depending on what case you use for your build this may not be a problem, but the heads on the screws that came with this unit were so wide that they didn't fit into the hard drive slot of my Rosewill Challenger case.

5 out of 5 eggsOna RaptorX for over four years.

Pros: Dual fan technology, enough wire distance to really hide the wiring. Keeps a RaptorX 150GB colder than any drive in my system.

Cons: Cleaning, it doesn't push enough airflow to really be considered self cleaning under the HDD it's mounted on. So; as part of my monthly "de-dusting" I have to unbolt it from the drive and blow everything clean.

Other Thoughts: Been attached to this RaptorX which now is a "random access" drive where an SSD took it's place as OS drive. The drive consistently stays within 4C of ambient temperatures regardless of the usage. Definitely worth the low cost.

Been in a 24/365 for over four and a half years and hasn't given any trouble even connected to a fan controller. If I could give it ten eggs, I would.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!

Pros: Amazing little thing! Does the job like magic, at a price that's also, well - magical! Really does help drop the temp of the HDD, it can be anywhere from 2C to 20C!! Good for hot rooms, and also helps to extend the life of your drive, preventing future errors.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: In computing, there is ALWAYS one essential factor: IF IT'S COOLER, IT RUNS BETTER.
It looks cheap, but it really isn't.
