The Creative Inspire T3100 2.1 two-way speaker system offers both solid design and spectacular sound. The compact desktop satellites each feature a tweeter and mid-range drivers, independently creating the highs and mid-tones for full sound and better detail. Combined with the system's subwoofer for low bass notes, you'll get a markedly richer listening experience. The subwoofer is enclosed in wood providing better resonance and solid construction--important if you're keeping this compact unit under your desk.
The satellites can be kept on your desk using their individual stands or attached to the wall with the included mounts. The speakers are also magnetically shielded so they can be safely used around your computer and other electronics. A headphone jack and a volume knob are located on one of the satellites making sure they are always within reach.

Clean & Clear Sound, Perfect Size
- Pros: Great range altogether with clean bass and clear highs. Powerful for its size and price. Stylish design.
- Cons: There is no separate volume controller (volume control is on the side of the right speaker, which I don't mind), and the bass level control is on the sub itself.
- Other Thoughts: This sound system has the cleanest sound I have ever heard from computer speakers, even clearer than a THX-certified system I also have. I can hear percussion and other effects in music that I usually don't notice unless I am wearing high-quality headphones. The speakers are smaller than the picture leads you to believe, but they sure pack a punch. Its size is perfect for a bedroom, dorm room, or other small to midsize room.
Great set of speakers
- Pros: Really excellent highs for this price point. Amazingly crisp and clear. Bass isn't loud, but it is there and rounds things out nicely.
- Cons: Midrange is lacking and gets lost and muddled at times.
- Other Thoughts: In reply to another commenter's review, the tweeters are not in fact fake. They are real; I took the thing apart just to make sure.

Very nice sound.
- Pros: Not being an audiophile, I can tell you that these speakers do the job very well.
I use it to listen to my playlists and gaming, quality for the dollar is very nice if you're looking for an alternate option to the more expensive speakers.
- Cons: There's distortion on the bass if you turn it on too loud, but there's also a very nice sweetspot.
Good Value Speakers
- Pros: These speakers produce excellent sound for their price. I am just using my motherboard's on board audio, and they (the speakers) still sound fantastic!
I use the speakers for in-game sound and use my headset for communication over Ventrilo.
- Cons: Nothing bad to mention.

Good for the price point
- Pros: The satellite speakers of this system have the best sound I've heard at this price point. The system is compact and light: the subwoofer takes up minimal space. The subwoofer has an independent volume knob, allowing you to adjust the LFE level.
- Cons: The subwoofer has a relatively high crossover point. The subwoofer itself is fairly small, and thus lacks the true "thump" of the larger subs you find at higher price points, such as that of the Logitech Z-2300.
What this means in simple terms is that the subwoofer tends to give a very boomy sound. Because of the high crossover point of the subwoofer, human voices often fall into the audio range of the subwoofer, which makes dialogue often difficult to understand. This can be remedied by turning the volume of the subwoofer down.
- Other Thoughts: My Home Theater system uses the Logitech Z-5500 system. I bought this set to use in my bedroom, on my gaming computer. It fulfills its purpose well as a set for a bedroom - the poor performance of the subwoofer is largely overshadowed by the excellent performance of the satellites in such a small space. If you want excellent, crisp bass, though, consider investing in a more powerful system with a larger subwoofer (that has a lower LFE crossover point). I have not found anything better than this set at this price point, however.
