Other Thoughts: For the price, these are a great set of speakers. Are they the best? Not by a long shot. But they do their job well. The cords that run to the speakers themselves could use to be a bit longer, as well as the input cables since I have my computer on top of my desk. The build and cable quality seems pretty good for a $40 set of speakers. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, and would recommend these to others.

Pros: Very loud unlike what many other say this is the perfect speakers for me at the moment,not an audiophile just like to listen to music with nice bass and clear sound,this speakers are just what I need,will probably purchase a different later but for now this is perfect!.

Cons: Only con I have is the controller It's wired,not a big issue tho I'd prefer wireless for when watching movie.

Other Thoughts: Great for gaming and even better for music. Mostly listen to dubstep with heavy bass and these pump loud!

Pros: Solid quality - reasonably good sound for the price.

I've had these for about 6 months now.

I finally got around to mounting them properly in my office, as I've been knocking them on the floor at least once a day, to the amusement of my office mate.

Unlike my Logitech's, these speakers lack any kind of mount, so it was a bit of a pain to mount them (14 foot ceilings didn't help.)

These fill the office with decent sound.

I've had a stream of people filtering through to listen to them with envy.

These aren't audiophile speakers - if you think they are, you have a tin ear.

BUT - they are very good PC speakers.

Pros: 5.1 sound system, adjustable base level. I've had these for 2 years and they put out a decent amount of sound with good quality. I've turned the base down so I don't upset the neighbors in my apartment unit.

As with all speakers, the sound quality is better with the speakers pointed directly at you. Since most of these are small, it sounds a lot better sitting in the main seat than sitting 5 feet away.

Speaker cords have different lengths, if you use the correct cord for the satellites they have plenty of range. Comes with some stickers so you can tag the speaker cord near the plug and on the back of the speaker. Makes it easy to set them up instead of chasing wires and trying to figure out which one is longer every time.

Cons: Cords don't disconnect from the sub. It's more of a nuisance when moving it than anything. I always prefer wires with a connection on them because they are easier to replace in the event of a short.

Volume adjuster is on a separate unit and doesn't have much weight to it. Track pads collect dust so they lose their grip and the cord tends to pull it towards the back of the desk.. Easily remedied by cleaning the pads, but I've noticed it a lot over the years.

Other Thoughts: Most webpages don't use full 5.1 sound, so if your listening to music or watching videos you may notice 2 speakers aren't working. You can change this on windows 7 by going into:
Sound
Playback
(select speaker output), Properties
Enhancements
Speaker Fill (check the box).

After that you'll get sound out of all speakers if the application doesn't support 5.1 sound.

Pros: Price, five channel

Cons: Haven't taken them out of the box yet as I'm planning to move soon and don't want to repack them

Pros: Crystal clear sound, easy installation, easy sound adjustment depending on your sound needs.

Cons: My neighbors don't like them which may not really be a con since my neighbors annoy me anyways lol.

Other Thoughts: I like how the speakers are not pre signed to be a certain position (I.E. right speaker left speaker, etc etc) I was able to choose where each speaker could go based on chord length because yes some of the speaker chords are longer then the chords on the other speakers. Easy access to the sound menu makes adjusting sound for any type of entertainment as easy as anything.

Pros: Great speaker quality for the price. Easy to install. Cables for speakers seem to be long enough for my use.

Cons: After having them for 8 months, the speakers no longer worked. I had to pay to ship them back to Creative and took about 2-3 weeks to get a replacement. Now with a new set, a front input jack in the sub-woofer is no longer producing sound when connected. I have to think is it even worth it to go through the RMA request and argue with the support again!

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for. I am a bargin shopper and love to get things on sale. This is the first time where this method of shopping has really hurt me. If I were not a broke college student, I probably would have replaced these by now.
