The FDD2 (Frequency Directed Dual Driver) technology in the satellites produces a uniform sound field anywhere in the room. A ported, side-firing sub-woofer moves massive amounts of air for a powerful bass response.

Cons: Subwoofer can be pretty hefty even on lowest of settings. Other Thoughts: I like gaming but I have never been interested in investing hundreds of dollars in top sound hardware. As such, this Logitech package is EXACTLY what I've been looking for. Haven't experienced any static in the output of sound/music like I did with my original Dell ones. Cons: i wish the knob to control the bass was next to the volume knob on the right speaker. Other Thoughts: i am thinking about purchasing another one for my tv depending on how good the stock speakers sound (hasn't arrived from newegg yet). newegg shipped quickly as usual. Cons: the cords are a bit to short. I had to keep the sub on my desk because it wont reach the floor with my pc there. Other Thoughts: Great buy for 35 bucks a year ago. I have the subwoofer under my desk, behind a file cabinet, with a towel over it, with the dial turned down as low as possible, and it is still too loud. I'm not into rap music and don't need such loud bass on my computer. Other Thoughts: I don't know what they were thinking with not even giving the option to turn the bass off. When the dial is turned all the way down I shouldn't have to hear bass. Oh well, I'll be sending them back and ordering something else. Did you find this review helpful?
