Music is an art and these speakers frame it beautifully. The satellite speakers are housed in sleek minimalist chassis with cast metal stands and the subwoofer is mounted in a stark black and silver cube.
Logitech's award winning technology is used in both the subwoofer and the satellites giving crisp bright sound. The two pressure drivers surrounding the active speaker on the satellite drives a big sound from the small package.
The wired remote has a headphone jack for private listening and an auxiliary input for a CD or MP3 player.

Excelent Speakers!!!
- Pros: Great sound in general, awesome sound for the dollar; Clean looks; Headphone & auxiliary input on remote.
- Cons: The speakers look cool, but maybe a screen? Some have said the remote could be heavier; true, but a trivial and insignificant gripe.
- Other Thoughts: As a music lover with a pretty sensitive ear, I was concerned with some of the negative reviews these speakers received. My biggest concern, THE SOUND, was put to rest by simply using an EQUILIZER, in this case, the one that came with my motherboard's audio software. Once I adjusted the levels to my liking, all the other concerns went away. Distortion? There isn't any, even at high volume, and they do get loud! Clarity? Again, once I had my highs, mids and lows set, sound definition was excellent. The highs are clear without sounding tinny, the bass is powerful and solid without having ghetto cruiser rattle, and the mids and vocals are crisp and distinct. Good speakers SHOULD respond to equalizer adjustment; any sound imperfections are then simply the result of the speaker accurately reproducing sound the way you told it to. Bottom line? For an audiophile with an EQ and a budget, these are top-notch. Would absolutely buy Logitech again.

- Pros: Well balanced. Crystal clear treble, midrange, and bass. Beautiful looking speakers. Remote is well designed with great functionality. BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK AT $69.99!!!
- Cons: These aren't louder than the $25 HP 2.1 13 Watt speaker system I returned. However, what those four extra satellite speakers and 27 Watts extra have given me is beautifully defined, crystal clear sound in the high-range, mid-range, and bass. The reason you will hear people review that less expensive speakers sound just as good is because they don't have the ear to tell just how muffled those inexpensive speakers really are....and just how crystal clear these Z-4 beauties sound!!!

Awesome sound for the price.
- Pros: Great speakers good bass response. Overall great sound and they look good on my desk too.
- Cons: Wish they had some grills to cover the speaker cones, I don't like that they are so exposed.
Good for the money
- Pros: Good sound for the wattage, compact, attractive, easy to relocate.
- Cons: Lacking in the mid-range, ~ 500-1000 Hz. Recommend using with equalizer.
