DCT Factory MIC-48B Black 3.5mm Connector Microphone

Pros: The price of this mic is the best part. I wasn't expecting it to even work when i got it. To my surprise the clarity is pretty good and seems pretty consistent. For what you pay for this there really isn't much of a better deal for how it works.

Cons: Really cheap plastic, mine was cracked when i got it. I just taped it up and it was fine. The base also cannot support the mic unless it is pointed more upward than towards the user. The only things i really was upset about is how close you have to get for your voice not to be a whisper and you also lots of sound pops because there is no foam.

Other Thoughts: for the price you cant beat it. Needs some foam around it to prevent it from having tons of voice pops. If you need a cheap mic grab this one.

Other Thoughts: I bought this because I figured I'd get my money's worth. Turns out I was right. Before even a month was up this cheap piece of junk was inoperable. You can do better; buy a different, more durable microphone.

Pros: It's a microphone, it was super cheap. I bought it so I could stop using my old webcam built in mic. People say my voice sounds completely different and much clearer now.

Cons: Materials are extremely cheap, it's too long and too light, not physically adjustable enough

Pros: A good mic for the price. Maybe not studio quality, but I use it for skype and my friends have told me the audio quality of my voice is excellent.

Cons: A few minor things:
The base is made of plastic so it's very top heavy and unbalanced. It'll still stand up on it's own, but it's easy to knock over.
Additionally, it does not have a shutoff switch on it, which I personally like.

Other Thoughts: Still, I am satisfied with the quality of the audio, for the price I paid, and in the end, that's what matters most.

Pros: Perfection! Just what I needed. Cheap.

Other Thoughts: I bought this because my laptop's installed microphone was TERRIBLE. My friends were always hearing strange sounds. I tested this, and it's perfect!

Cons: Very cheaply made, arrived DOA. Sometimes you get what you pay for

Other Thoughts: was an attempt to appease the girlfriend by not wearing a headset while using comms.

It broke... just tell her its important business and wear the head set.

Pros: This is good I bought it for $4.99 it does what it supposed to do pick up my voice and did not have any problem when you plug the mic into my PC.

Cons: It picks up allot of background noises so if your doing online chatting allot make sure your room is quieter all the electronics (tv, radio, etc..) are off I will be purchasing a headset with a mic from Newegg sooner.

Pros: For free, i cant complain.

Cons: looks kind of flimsy, but not subtracting an egg for the price i payed. ($0)
