Pros: Excellent value for a 5 speaker system. Sound quality is good, but a little bit muffled. Bass is adequate. Very happy with this system, at $60 it can't be beat. Looks great on my desk, next to my 21.5" widescreen monitor- also purchased from Newegg. ;)
Cons: The sound/bass knobs are located on woofer. I have to crawl under my desk to adjust the knobs. A remote would have been nice. As mentioned previously, the sound is a bit muffled- but that may have been my mistake not threading the copper wire properly- although I think I did a good job...
Other Thoughts: Very happy with this system for the price. Very happy with Newegg. Been buying from Newegg since I was 16 for my first computer build, and still buying at age 21. -Lifetime customer over here ;)

Pros: This sound system is great! I have this hooked up to my onboard audio and it still sounds great.
Cons: The printed labels for power, volume, etc. rub off very easily so try not to rub against the words when adjusting the knobs.

Pros: Can rumble the room
Cons: Plugged everything in and immediately started getting a lot of low end hum and picked up a radio station. Moved the speaker cables around and fiddled with the volume controls a lot and found a somewhat acceptable level of hum. Unfortunately that volume level is turned up as loud as it will go, so all volume coming from the computer has to be turned down almost completely. Guess you get what you pay for.
Other Thoughts: This could be just a bad amp. I've read that you can add ferrite rings to the speaker cables and get rid of radio interference.

flawed but cheap

Pros: excellent sound for a $65 set. gets plenty lound enough for my purposes
Cons: bass/center channel wouldn't work until I figured out to put the plug in the back of the sub in only 3/4 of the way... also anytime the power is on the sub wants to play a radio signal (a rather disliked station at that)... gonna try and ground it to see if that helps
Other Thoughts: nice long cords, don't expect plug and play on this.
