Is NOT an IEEE-1284 port
Pros: I guess it would work for a printer.
Cons: Card shows up as "USB Printing Support" and not as an LPT port. So if you were buying this to drive some kind of external hardware that isn't a printer, don't. It won't work.

Does Not Make DOS Printing Possible
Pros: Works fine for connecting a computer without a parallel port to a printer that has only a parallel port.
Cons: This is not the solution if you want to print from an old DOS program that must connect to a printer via parallel port. Windows sees this card as a USB device and does not send out the right data. Manufacturer confirms this is the case. I think there are other cards that will do this, but I haven't identified or bought one yet.
