Features

Features
Intelligent LCD Diagnostic Display: The innovative front panel LCD can be used to display detailed information on the UPS status and current power conditions. The LCD displays 10 different diagnostics: Input Voltage Level, Output Voltage Level, Battery Capacity, Runtime, Load Level, Output Power Frequency, On Battery, Overload, Wiring Fault, and Silent Mode.
EMI/RFI - Provides shielding against electromagnetic interference & radio frequency signals. Most commonly, this is used to prevent line noise or "humming" that occurs over telephone lines or stereo electronics.
Transformer-spaced Outlets - Widely spaced outlets allow you to conveniently add large transformer-based plugs without compromising the utility of other outlets.
USB Connectivity - HID compliant USB port enables full integration with built-in power management and auto shutdown features of Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.
PowerPanel PE Smart Management Software - In event of a power outage, PowerPanel PE will not only save your open files and will also "Hibernate" your PC to increase the run-time on the UPS unit. PowerPanel is quickly and easily installed on any Windows-based PC and is designed to utilize minimal system resources. Diagnostic screens give immediate visuals of the UPS's status, and also include the following features: Silent operation mode, configurable system notifications, automatic self tests, adjustable high/low voltage warnings, event/data logging, and scheduled shutdowns.
LED Indicators - LED status lights indicate Power-On and wiring faults.
Audible Alarms - Audible tones identify when the unit is running off battery power, unit overloads and low battery.
Convenient Mounting - Multiple mounting options: horizontal, vertical, cabinet, and wall.
Resettable Circuit Breaker - Convenient unit reset switch in case of an overload.

5 out of 5 eggsNICE

Pros: Anyone with a solar system this thing is passive the xandrex 2000 has an output of 115 and this unit will not AVR to 120 forcing more power to be used I was well pleased with that.

Cons: not enough plugs spaced apart for power adapters had to use a power strip

Other Thoughts: 20minutes up time with intell dual core media machine power packs for sound, cable modem, router, HDHOMERUN TV, and 23inch monitor.

I use this to keep the media station up while im switching from grid to home solar power i can not use a switch cause my solar is to far away from the electric box. Im considering buy another for my game rig. Its a bit irritating to have to turn it off every time i switch over from one to another.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great, saved me twice already

Pros: It works as stated, make sure you use the provided software with a usb cable to the pc if you want it to detect a power failure loss properly. Easy to read lcd display, the software is great too, easy to use with alerts.

Cons: I wish the display stayed on full time, you have to click it once to make it visible.

Other Thoughts: You don't need as much power as you think you do, I run a gaming pc with a 43in led-lcd tv (as a pc monitor) off the battery backup and I get 15 mins when power drops out. Don't waste money on higher VA units if you don't need more time, in all honestly 5 mins is usually more than most anyone will need to do a safe shutdown or carry you through a power interruption.

4 out of 5 eggsNot quite as much as I needed

Pros: It does it's job and the USB cable connected to the PC works the same as if it was a laptop.

Cons: This is more my fault than the UPS. I underestimated how much power I needed. When I went to play a game even without my monitors plugged into the battery side the UPS sounded an alarm.

Other Thoughts: I have 3 monitors, PC w/ 500 watt power supply, two Radeon HD 6850 video cards, 1 Blue WD drive, DVD burner, 8GB RAM.

I will use this for my cable modem & wireless router.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Little UPS

Pros: Digital LCD Readout, Relatively inexpensive for a decent unit. Lots of outlets. Solid Quality Unit. 2 Year Warranty. Tech support is tops if you ever do need them.

Cons: The whole upside down mounting thing, but not a problem in my situation.

Other Thoughts: I just bought another 6 of these to replace aging or failing units from other manufacturers on users desktops. All of them worked perfectly out of the box. Tech support is great - I had an older unit barely still under warranty but quit functioning after a storm. I opened a ticket, and they sent me a new battery and brought it back to life. No Hassle, No charge, not even shipping. That's service.

5 out of 5 eggsGood, Usable UPS

Pros: Linux support (its a command line utility and daemon, so its not tied to any specific desktop environment), nice LCD, adequate power, good price

Cons: no way to keep LCD on, beeped like crazy when i first plugged it in.

Other Thoughts: I am using this to protect my small home server (CentOS), as we have had frequent lightning storms and brief power outages lately. The Linux utility allows you to specify shell scripts to run at certain events, such as blackout, low battery, critical battery, etc. As my server only draws 68 Watts, it shows an estimated battery runtime of near 45 minutes. Hoping to see the system uptime get into the months. :)

5 out of 5 eggsStill Love it

Pros: All of the below, still using it on a different rig than below.

Cons: See "Other Thoughts"

Other Thoughts: not Active PFC compatible, if you have an Active PFC PSU, look into the Pure Sine Wave or Pure Sine Wave compatible models (per correspondance with Cyberpower Customer Service)
