4 out of 5 eggsPerfect for small applications

This review is from: CyberPower Standby Series CP350SLG 350 VA 255 w 6 Outlets UPS

Pros: I recently bought a Brother MFC here at Newegg, and needed a power protection for it. After debating between brands and capacities, as well as looking over some regular surge protectors, I decided on this unit. It's TINY. Literally it's not much larger than a house brick. It is also very light.

Cons: Not Line Interactive, no digital readout, high cost per watt rating, not sine wave.

Other Thoughts: For lower power applications, such as an inkjet printer, network switch, even a router this is a good product. But remember it is very basic, and is not sine wave, so it should never be used with computers and other very expensive electronics.

5 out of 5 eggsCloset Up

This review is from: CyberPower Standby Series CP350SLG 350 VA 255 w 6 Outlets UPS

Pros: smaller than expected.
compact design.
no annoying beeps when power goes out after 1st button press to acknowledge alert unlike others that make you do it often.
Great for router, PoE switch for the home runs in my house closet.
Wall mountable.

Cons: none that I can find.
its sized for what I need.

Other Thoughts: make sure you do your power calculations and get the right sized ups. people who don't like this either rank it for low ups time or fails when switched off power. both are due to failure to compute their power requirements and run time requirements.

5 out of 5 eggsI like these.

This review is from: CyberPower Standby Series CP350SLG 350 VA 255 w 6 Outlets UPS

Pros: Great little UPS.

Cons: Don't try to run this on a generator. You're gonna have a bad time. (It cuts power due to inconsistent generator output detected as bad/unstable line voltage/Hz)

Other Thoughts: Used 'em before, will use 'em again.

2 out of 5 eggsworks once

This review is from: CyberPower Standby Series CP350SLG 350 VA 255 w 6 Outlets UPS

Pros: Great price, should be good for light duty

Cons: failed at the first power outage. maintained power long enough to get things shut down. Would not turn back on when power came back on. burnt smell,

Other Thoughts: Spend the extra $20 and get a better one

5 out of 5 eggsWOWSA!

This review is from: CyberPower Standby Series CP350SLG 350 VA 255 w 6 Outlets UPS

Pros: 6 outlets, surge protection, telephone line protection, small footprint, easy to operate.

Cons: Not a one!

Other Thoughts: If you want a good battery backup with surge protection that doesn't take up a lot of room, grab this lil bad boy! I wouldn't recommend this unit for a beast of a computer, but rather a basic computer system with LED monitor.

1 out of 5 eggsDied In One Month

This review is from: CyberPower Standby Series CP350SLG 350 VA 255 w 6 Outlets UPS

Pros: Worked for a month

Cons: Worked for only a month, then died.

Other Thoughts: Unit stopped working. Killed power (crashing systems) and rang the alarm tone. All while connected to power, which was on fine.

Instead of protecting systems, it crashed them, allwhile power was on.

NewEgg charged me close to $20 shipping to RMA a $40 product. Hardly worth the RMA effort. Vendor should pick up shipping for a defective product.

5 out of 5 eggsI buyed it just on time!

This review is from: CyberPower Standby Series CP350SLG 350 VA 255 w 6 Outlets UPS

Pros: I have buyed this UPS just at the right time. I install it the same day of the delivery, and the same day there was a power outage of about 7 minutes. This small UPS just kick in and to his job corectly. Very great, eggcellent even!

Cons: none so far.

Other Thoughts: The unit is very tiny, so its very easy to put it, in my case, above the kitchen cabinets for plug in a ip camera and a wireless router.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor quality control on otherwise nice UPS units

This review is from: CyberPower Standby Series CP350SLG 350 VA 255 w 6 Outlets UPS

Pros: They're small, light and easy to set up and use.

Cons: I bought two and one died within a week. The battery backup side is totally dead and won't turn on at all. The power LED doesn't come on even when the button is held.

Other Thoughts: If I'd known the failure rate was this high, I've have bought more expensive and reliable units.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for Network Devices

This review is from: CyberPower Standby Series CP350SLG 350 VA 255 w 6 Outlets UPS

Pros: More than enough juice to keep things like routers, modems and small network switches alive during power outages. Works great for any low power device, like phones, answering machines, etc.

Cons: None, except if you're trying to use it with a PC because there's not managed shutdown capabilities.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't recommend this for PCs (other than maybe low power HTPCs) because it does not have USB connectivity for managed shutdowns. Spend another $10-$20 for one that supports this if you want one for a PC.
