3 out of 5 eggsDecent Basic Machine, a few hiccups

Pros: Price is right, and the performance (speed, sound, etc) is appropriate for a basic web browsing & light home computing computer.

Cons: Some stability issues, BSOD is always lurking nearby and pops up every week or so.

5 out of 5 eggsQuick Build Home Computer

Pros: Very easy to setup and get the needed hardware to build a full working computer. Running great with 4GBs of RAM and Windows 7 64 bit. Perfect computer for my mother to just use the internet and office.

Cons: None for what it was used for

Other Thoughts: Great barebones computer for a home computer.

5 out of 5 eggsBuilt like an IPad (Foxconn makes them)

Pros: Setup Guide with pictures. Used 8gb (2x4gb)
Plays 3 Bluray movies at the same time.
HDMI is great.

Cons: Please clear path before installing hard drive.

Other Thoughts: 65w PS is actually great.
Make sure this is the limit.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: small, nice and speedy for its price

Cons: not quite powerful enough to run 1080p videos in xbmc.

Other Thoughts: Great little system, just change the psu fan for noise, and add ram and harddrive and you have a nice little desktop without even the price of a nettop

5 out of 5 eggsNice little box

Pros: Plenty of speed for everyday tasks of home/small office users.

Cons: Instructions could be a little better but not a deal breaker.

Other Thoughts: This little box makes a great daily web browing/office tasks box. It would also make a low power server as well (as long as 2 sata ports are enough or a pcie 4x raid card is used). I installed Windows 7 64 bit and had zero problems.

5 out of 5 eggs1080p no lag

Pros: plays mkv 1080p with no lag.
cpu consumption 30-40 %
Make sure you are using an application that supports hardware acceleration like xbmc.
Installed win7 from usb.

Cons: comes with 2 short hd cables 1 shorter than the other.
i have only 1 hd and the longer cable worked fine.

Other Thoughts: it is fully compatible with linux mint 13 unfortunately i had some lag with high def video. It appears win7 offers better hardware accelation support out of the box. Linux has to be setup for this and the process seems very involved.

1 out of 5 eggsOnly works with one RAM installed

Pros: Cheap, relatively powerful for the price

Cons: I bought 2x2GB Kingston 1066 DDR3 RAM for it, (KVR1066D3S8N7K2/4G) but it only worked with one RAM installed. If I tried to install two RAMS together, the system won't boot. (even without post screen) The two RAMs worked well individually in either of the two slots - so I think the slots and RAMs are good, but the circuit for dual channel thing might be bad.

Other Thoughts: I probably should just use it with 2gb RAM then, since all I want is a HTPC that playbacks 1080p But it was a really bad experience and wasted me a lot of time...

5 out of 5 eggsSolid & Reliable

Pros: Decent little system. Used as a backup computer for VPNing into work and I have had no issue in the past 2 months using it. Paired it with 4 GB of Kingston RAM (KVR1066D3S8N7K2/4G) and use it 5-6 days a week (on call for work). Low power, quiet, reliable and no worries.

Cons: None

3 out of 5 eggsMixed setup experience

Pros: Relatively small, integrated, OK setup instructions, very good price.

Cons: Noisy, drive bay and memory slots clash.

Other Thoughts: My review is based on my setup experience.
The instructions are clear enough, especially as it relates to installing the 1st hard drive which can otherwise be tricky. However, if you add memory modules with heat dissipation "exoskeletons" you will find that, when reinstalling the drive caddy (where you insert a 2nd HD or an optical drive), bumps against the memory modules and would not fit. I had to perform some rough surgery to cut/bend the tin harness of the drive bay to fit on top the memory modules (it's not the drive that bumps against the memory module, but the bottom of the drive caddy itself!)
Once this was accomplished and system ready to install OS, I deployed Windows Home Server 2011 - installation stalled indicating no LAN drivers were found. This was solved by using the provided drivers CD and pointing at the Windows 7 LAN driver.
With the system finally running, the fan noise is a bit loud for a 24-hr-on system. Will try tweak something here and report back.
