The solid choice
- Pros: I recently sold my old Pro 360 from 2005 for an elite and I must say that the upgrade was worth the trouble.
- Higher Capacity Drive - Sleek Black Case - Built-in HDMI with cable included. - Rock Solid selection of games. - Excellent premium online features with access to videos and games/demos - Does not scare children and small animals with loud grinding noises like my old pro.
- Cons: - The hard drive comes preloaded with about 500 megabytes of demos. The Gesture is nice and 500 Mb is a drop in the bucket, but I could have done just as well with a clean drive. Formatting is easy enough.
- Wireless controllers do not come with rechargeable battery packs standard. It's a great controller, and a simple improvement like this would build a lot of goodwill.
- Other Thoughts: All launch hardware problems and teenagers blindly hating "t3h m1cr0$0ft" aside, this product has largely treated me quite well. The games up to this point have all been entertaining enough and the end of 2008 holds a few great titles that should not be missed.
Great system... Don't listen to the nay sayers.
- Pros: This thing is outstanding for the price, compared to the other 360's or the PS3. The premium is a little less and doesn't have the extras. If you already have a 360 I don't see a reason to upgrade, unless you have a 1080p HDTV. This thing looks great, whether games or DVDs.
- Cons: It runs hot, but I'm not too worried about that since the extended warraty was so cheap.
I don't really care about the HDDVD player being seperate, because I don't own any HDDVDs so I don't want to pay for what I'm not going to use. I can see how some people might be mad about this, but are you buying a DVD player or a game console?
- Other Thoughts: This product is awesome.

Console
- Pros: It is an older model (2007) and it has an older Hitachi drive which is super easy to flash, if thats your thing. It is also old enough (hardware and dashboard) to do the jtag exploit. Anyone looking for an older machine I think this part# is what you are looking for.
- Cons: Older motherboard chipset, that is not as resistent to the RROD. It is what it is. Could last 10 years or 10 minutes.
- Other Thoughts: I got a hitachi elite made in 07?? I am not sure where they found this thing but it sure does look new. I am going to call MS and verify it is not a refurb...I mean newegg is usually very good about this, and I trust them, but it's just too old not to check out.
no more
- Pros: um there r none
- Cons: the list is to long.. but the big one is tey break to much
- Other Thoughts: i have had three xbox360's fail. they lasted me 2-3 months each. I hve finally gotten microsoft to just give me my money back. I ownd all 3 current gen systems and my ps3 and wii dominate the xbox. If u wanna game and not have down time get the ps3
Great System
- Pros: The best thing about this system is the fact that it's got 120 gb hard drive, an HDMI cable, and the sharp looking black case. It is also definitely a lot quieter than my other friends 360 models. A great bargain and my opinion you get your moneys worth over the PS3 when you buy this system due to more support and games.
- Cons: The only drawback about this system is the wireless. If you want to go wireless you're forced to buy the xbox360 wireless adapter for $85 but other than that it's about it.
