5 out of 5 eggsMake Room

Pros: Plenty of space and then some. Seems durable. Comes with a little box for all the screws, nuts and bolts.

Cons: Smudges easily.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you google some images of this thing just to see how massive it really is before you buy it. Almost as big as my nightstand.

Weight is close to 40 pounds before adding components.

4 out of 5 eggsFeature Packed E-ATX Motherboard

Pros: - There's so many USB 3.0 ports!
- (If I remember right) four internal USB 2.0 headers and one 3.0 header.
- Two SATA 6GB ports, and 6 normal SATA ports.
- Nice looking heatsinks all over the board covering the MOSFET and bridges.

Cons: The first board was defective. One DIMM was broken so that when it was populated, the system wouldn't post.
After spending about two days on the phone with EVGA and Newegg, I was able to get an RMA for $45 in shipping.

The new board works like a charm, but I had to take off an egg for the painful RMA process.

Other Thoughts: The RMA process was such a pain.

After being on the phone with Newegg for about 20 minutes, we had set up a refund RMA for the board (Or so I thought). Basically I would just re-order the board with whatever shipping I wanted, ship out the defective board and the new one would get here before they even got the old one. After a few minutes we had set that up and I thought all was well.

The next day, I logged onto Newegg and noticed that he had set up the refund RMA on the wrong board (I ordered two different boards in the same order, the other one being for a different build).
That wasn't a big deal, it was a simple mistake, so I called back Newegg support and explained the situation only to find out that my defective board was not refundable. The only way I could get an RMA would be the normal week-or-so wait.

THEN I ended up calling EVGA and I found out their RMA process was much simpler and more end-user friendly. They offered a cross-shipment method, meaning that they would send me a board after I paid them like 3 dollars collateral (and shipping), and I would send them the defective board in the packaging the new one came in. I ended up getting the next day shipping, which was $45 for both ways.

5 out of 5 eggsSmooth as silk!

Pros: I decided to create a new custom build because it's been a while. I've had a major break from gaming (my last card was a GTX 460SE), but decided to jump in and play some new titles. Man, what a difference! Not only has this card run everything I've thrown at it at max settings, it's insanely quiet. I'll waterblock it eventually, but if you're still running on air in your current setup, don't worry, you'll be alright dBA wise. Highly recommended.

Cons: -Price point (which isn't really a con, due to the fact that with brand-spanking-new gpu hardware, you get what you pay for.)
-Some people might not be able to fit this monster in their mid cases without some sort of cable management or case modding. This sucker is HUGE. It even extends past my motherboard's footprint!

Other Thoughts: If you have the extra cash, but not enough to go for the titan, this is a great alternative. PS: if you want the new nVidia architecture, be sure to go 780 and not 770

4 out of 5 eggsDecent APU

Pros: Very fast and powerful, beautiful graphics and graphics performance with windows 8.

Cons: Bad graphics and graphics performance with windows 7. The person the system was built for, my brother, would have preferred windows 7.

1 out of 5 eggsinconsistent, then useless

Pros: Come with USB cord and wall wart PS.

Cons: Problems staying connected. Plugging the AC power in actually disconnects the hub from Windows.

It didn't start this way. It worked for USB thumb drives and card readers for about 3 months, them problems came up more and more.

After about a year, it just stopped working altogether.
It shows as a hub under device manager, but nothing of any kind plugged in can be recognized by windows, not even a mouse or USB keyboard.

Other Thoughts: I chalk this up to a lot of early USB 3.0 devices were expensive and unreliable. I have purchsed to new ones this week from other mfgrs, and hope they work better.

I almost never give bad reviews like this, even for hard drives that fail, but this was such a consistent disappointment it deserves it.
