Great Improvement for the series
- Pros: Graphics are very noticably better than PGR3, the cities look particularly awesome, even at speed. Some cool camera stuff is in here, like when you're going really fast there's some sway in it. Not distracting, but really cool. When you slide for longer times, the camera begins to twist in the direction you're sliding. The Bikes are a nice addition for at least a novelty now and again. The weather is a great addition too, Nurburgring in the snow is pretty great. Tesla Roadster is fun/strange to drive, with no sound at all below 90 or so. The new career mode is pretty neat, a nice departure from previous PGR games. Also, they don't have the HDR set to "Oh man we just invented HDR CRANK IT!!!!", there are colors besides white and black in this one, unlike PGR3. Nice new interface for tracking Kudos, and finally some customizable paint jobs! Geo Wars Waves is fun too.
- Cons: The in car view can be tough to use sometimes, with the tach not always visible. This can be very problematic in the Tesla. Paint job customization is limited compared to games like Forza 2. Bikes aren't always that practical. New Geometry Wars can't be accessed seperately from inside your garage.
- Other Thoughts: A huge step forward for the series. This was a game I wasn't expecting too much from, but they really delivered this time. It doens't feel rushed like PGR3 did. The new career mode is calendar based, which is pretty cool. There are some really awesome cars in there, as well, including the Ferrari FXX and Caparo T1, among others. I'm enjoying this a lot. And the new Geometry Wars is fun too, very intense.
- Pros: For the current price I paid here at Newegg, I bought 2 of these games, 1 for me and 1 for my brother for cheaper than the used version sold at Gamestop! The cars look and feel realistic when driving, as well as high quality graphics. There are tons of stuff to do here, such as a standard Arcade mode or even a career mode. As you progress, you can unlock new cars, game modes, etc. It also includes a simple version of Geometry Wars inside of the career mode garage. Then as always, shipping was flawless and everything arrived in perfect shape.
- Cons: Some of the races can be a bit difficult, but that makes more of a challenge than a con. For a real con on the other hand, whenever I want to replay a board, it has to reload everything again, instead of an instant replay.
- Other Thoughts: I am using a standard definition TV, so almost all of the text is unreadable, and I have perfect eyesight. I wanted a racing game that was more on the realistic side, but not as insane as Forza. This game works well and I recommend this game to everyone with the same intentions.

Now this is a racing game!
- Pros: I wasn't sure which game was better, so I bought this along with GRID at the same time. GRID was a disappointment with the damage feature ruining my races- it was near impossible to be in first place without crashing my car, even in easy mode. When I popped this disc in, I was pleased with the music selection not being as obnoxious as most racing games, and the 'video game factor'. Finally, I am able to enjoy video game racing without that annoying damage feature.
- Cons: For an xbox360 game, the graphics are lacking IMO. The loading times are closer to a PS2 machine, and the videogame itself feels a bit cheap when you factor this all in.
- Other Thoughts: I wanted a racing video game and I got it. For $20 this game is a blast, and even though the graphics do not impress- it's a lot of fun. GET IT!

- Pros: Excellent arcade style racing game, with some decent features that can compete with the simulator racers.
- Cons: None I can think of!
- Other Thoughts: Wish I could order it again at 9.99 after my 360 scratched my game, rendering online play impossible :(
