Will this controller work with next gen Xbox or will it become obsolete this fall/winter when Scorpio is released?

It will work on the Xbox Scorpio, as its not a brand new console its just an update of same system. That is my opinion, but I am 99.9% sure. It is costly to make new controller for system and in the past they never changed a controller for any other of the updated consoles for 360 cycle.
