Good Price
- Pros: Good price for the game.
- Cons: ~~
- Other Thoughts: It's a pretty goofy game.
Great game
- Pros: Very customizable character "classes" and skills allow you to make many different kinds of parties to suit your style. Very addictive leveling system, where not only does your character level but his class (which you can change at any time) levels separately. Lots of fun to play with this to get the best combination of stats at a given point in the game. Graphics are beautiful. Lots of things to search and lots of play time (game is 3 DVDs). This is probably one of the least repetitive turn-based RPGs I've played due to the ability to change up the character classes. Maybe less repetitive than Chrono Trigger (gasp)!
- Cons: The boss-battle music, which thankfully is somewhat infrequent, is really bad. The first time I heard it I laughed out loud, after that, I rolled my eyes, and now I want to end my life a little bit more each time I hear it. It's really really cheesy faux-80s glam rock, and I think one of the game's programmers did the vocals. Also, the dialogue is a little Engrish, and can get tedious, but you can skip cutscenes with the start button. And as someone previously observed, Marumoru = Jar Jar Binks.
- Other Thoughts: If you buy this game for under thirty or so bucks, it's worth it. I paid much less, and so I am very satisfied and pleasantly surprised. And I'm picky about RPGs.
Great JRPG
- Pros: interesting characters
good music nice graphics very long game with replay value great value for the money
- Cons: fight system is somewhat repetitive
- Other Thoughts: Had a lot of fun with this game. This is the most fun I've had playing a JRPG in a while.
