N/A 7/2/2012 8:04:25 AM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 4/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5 Pros: I'm from the old school mentality that games should be more about a compelling story that takes you places emotionally than flashy graphics. With that being said, Max Payne 3 is one of the best games I've played in a long time. Period. It oozes with story. The voice actors are fantastic which is a Rockstar trademark. The gameplay is exciting, and just keeps the game fun while you progress through this film noir. The graphics are also pretty. Max no longer has a permanent scowl. Cons: There are bugs. The game froze on me on a few occasions, or trapped me so that I couldn't move and I had to reset the game. I'm sure more of those things are fixed now. The game was so good these things didn't hurt the egg rating for me. Other Thoughts: Diablo 3 and MP3 came out the same day. I made the mistake of buying Diablo 3, which was terrible. Pros: -Great Graphics -Solid Gameplay -Multiplayer is great. - Classic Max Payne "Noir" story while also having a hint of "fallen hero" Cons: -Many, many loading scenes -Max runs about as fast as Wilford Brimley Other Thoughts: This game is one of the best 3rd person shooters I've ever played, behind the Gears of War series, Metal Gear Solid and the Red Dead series. Rockstar's take on the Max Payne franchise is great, they kept the feel of the old MP games while updating the gameplay and graphics. The story, while not the best in the series, makes this game a must-play for any MP fan. The Multiplayer is great and introduces the "Crews" feature allowing you to team up with other friends and earn bonus XP. The Bullet Time feature is also well integrated into the Multiplayer.
