5 out of 5 eggsTaking Homefront to The Front Lines

Pros: Unlike most FPS Games, Homefront drops the player into a Realistic outcome of a near future. With the Game play similar to other Well known game titles such as Call of Duty the controls tend to come naturally to everyone who plays.

Cons: Once I started playing I was unable to put down my Controller....

Other Thoughts: Its not a reason to keep someone from buying the game but certain scenes in the game tend to be a little over the top when it comes to the survival to the main character. Nothing but a little oddity within the game.

5 out of 5 eggsMy Favorite Shooter Of 2011

Pros: A fresh new shooter for 2011 that really went under the radar for many shooter fans. If you failed to pick it up you are missing out on a really new fresh look at shooters. With a monetary credit system that restarts each round the object to is to spend your credits wisely depending on the situation. If you see a tank or apc you have many options to take it out with the right amount of credits. You can send some rockets or proximity rockets at it or you can demolish it with a cluster bomb from a jet or hellfire blasts from a chopper. Or you could justs buy a tank yourself and go Tank vs Tank.
Everything is upgradable from guns to vehicle upgrades. Put together custom loadouts to deomolish the enemy or just take a default loadout that everyone gets at the start and start ranking up.
And for those who said it was laggy when you tried it I dont think waited for the server issues to get better.
I mean what shooter doesnt have problems the first 4-6 weeks of release?

Cons: At first the servers were crazy laggy.
It runs 4x times more smooth than launch.
Hard to find servers with the map packs that they released. But many games are like that. I guess people are too cheap to buy the awesome map packs.

3 out of 5 eggscould be better

Pros: Great weapon detail as far as the looks go but the sounds could have been better. The shotgun could be the best weapon in the game do to its power.

Cons: The story was left open for another game but at $50+ a pop its not worth it but I can't completly hate it because I am unable to play online so the game may have a plus side to it. As far as the weapons go it sounded as if I were shooting the same weapon and the only real difference was the rate of fire. The shotguns range is unrealistic as far as long range and I know you are not gonna kill someone from more than 60 yard its just gonna hurt really bad.

Other Thoughts: I understand that not everyone always wants to play a game that a war is started because of Russia or what not but Korea Really and in the "near-future". Just because they hate america and tell the kids we are the bad guys doesnt mean they can actually support a war in the "near-future".

4 out of 5 eggsMultiplayer is awesome, single player...not so much

Pros: The multiplayer experience is unlike COD where it is in a huge environment and not as fast paced but still worth while. The battle points concept is really sweet because you can call in vehicles or drones or anything where most of them you can have a teammate with you. The gun detail is amazing. Also, the guns each have their own unique sound when fired, etc; making for unique gameplay, etc.

Cons: Single player is a bit of a let-down. however, it isn't horrible, nor is it amazing.
Something about it just quite doesn't really stick out for what I expected of it.
However, the multiplayer does make up for it, but is disappointing.
They still don't seem to have enough dedicated servers as often you'll get "booted" from a game or lobby because you cannot connect to the Homefront server...
It's unfortunate you cannot play with a friend on the same xbox split screen online..

Other Thoughts: I really hope they make a sequel to the game so that they can learn from the vast amount of people playing that they will be more prepared in their amounts of dedicated servers as well as create a unique and dynamic single player, along with an even better multiplayer experience.
it will be worth-while to improve this game and bring it out even better than ever so that people don't have to simply rely on multiplayer gameplay but they can have a more suitable singleplayer.

5 out of 5 eggsHomefront is Underrated

Pros: Homefront takes users to a near-future possible outcome and the developers did a great job depicting an emotional campaign. The campaign may be short but the multi-player makes up for it. Many people need to understand this is THQ/KAOS's breakthrough FPS and like other developers, KAOS has learned from their mistakes. The multi-player is great and they are continually improving their servers

Cons: Because they had low expectations for this game, their support for Console Servers isn't as high as their support for their PC servers.

Other Thoughts: Their next installments should do 100x better than this and I believe THQ/KAOS has started something new.

4 out of 5 eggsFun when working.

Pros: Great multi-player when working.

Most fun I've had playing multi-player since COD4.

New and not same old COD (Although COD4 was amazing).

Cons: Short single player.

Not enough servers.

Game doesn't work for some due to Gamertag glitch.

Other Thoughts: Only a few guns to choose from but history has proved time and time again that people usually only use one or two guns (most powerful) anyway.

1 out of 5 eggsUgh....

Pros: Can't think of any.

Cons: The basic game play isn't what it was hyped to be. Bad dialog, way too long to get through a battle scenes. No understanding of what your objective is because there isn't any back story guiding you to the start of the game. And at one point in the game you end up having to fight through numerous enemies alone which makes no sense at all when 100% of the time you're in a group with two or more people.

Other Thoughts: This just isn't a good game. don't waste your money. Get Battlefield 2 Bad Company or COD or Halo: Reach...anything but Homefront.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible

Pros: It was fun to shoot enemies in the game. Story had a great concept and was very original.

Cons: Where to begin? Campaign is 3 hours long with medium difficulty, and that's with trying to accomplish special achievements. The multiplayer is almost useless. Servers are always down, and you still can't play with friends. This is a massive issue which is discussed on the official Homefront site. It crashes Xboxs left and right.

Other Thoughts: The good news? Best Buy accepted it back as a full return! I played this game for over a week. Best Buy and Game Stop have been allowing people to return their games for something else. When is the last time they did something like that? I'm now enjoying Crysis2 which actually works! Sorry Kaos/THQ, you had your chance, and blew it. This is the second epic fail for you.
