Pros: Works as expected. I got this for the headset option which is clear and crisp.

Cons: You cant switch from headset to speaker without unplugging the headset. The 2.m plug is under a plastic lip which is alkward to grab to go to speaker.

Other Thoughts: only had this a month. Im wontering if the speed dial memory will be lost when the batteries die.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Phone

Pros: This is a nice solid desk phone for anyone who does a lot of work from their desk. Speakerphone is loud and very clear. I haven't witnessed the audio problems others have reported with the speakerphone mic.

Cons: LCD is difficult to read sometimes unless you lean way forward. They could have made the LCD angle adjustable to solve this.

Other Thoughts: Good phone. I would highly recommend.

1 out of 5 eggsDefective phone

Pros: When the phone is working it works well, but you would think that Panasonic could make a corded phone that worked all the time.

Cons: I had to send the telephone back to Panasonic for a reconditioned replacement because it was burning out three Energizer alkaline batteries every week. Batteries are supposed to last six months. Shipping to send it back cost me $11.25.

Other Thoughts: I still have not recieved the replacement.

4 out of 5 eggsHome office desk phone

Pros: Ye olde Panasonic makes a handy desk phone. The display offers the time of day, number of missed calls, and whether voicemail is waiting. (I believe it briefly picks up on the line occasionally to check for the stuttered dial tone to deduce this). I have not even read the manual - the buttons are clearly labeled, big, and intuitive.

Cons: The phone jacks are not labeled on the same plane that you insert the plug. You have to rotate the phone around upside-down to see the icons for which is which. Fortunately for a stationary desk phone this will be infrequent.

Other Thoughts: It comes with a fairly comprehensive manual. I have no need for advanced operations or address book; I just got laid off and needed a reliable corded phone with speakerphone ability and I got that. Good deal.

3 out of 5 eggsNice, but not Great.

Pros: I like the size and buttons. Handset is comfortable and sounds very good. Speakerphone speaker sounds pretty good also.

Cons: For me, worst is speakerphone is only half-duplex.

Second worst item for me is that there is no button to leave the headset in and activate/deactivate it while using the speakerphone. You have to remove it to use the speakerphone. I guess I'm just a bit lazy but it just seems silly to me. (The Speakerphone button does act as the headset button when a headset is attached so that's still OK and you can use the handset while the headset is on).

Third, the LCD does not have a back light and is not tilt adjustable itself which makes reading it a little troublesome where I like to have it.

Other Thoughts: I work from home so with meetings all over the world (I do use a VoiP service also) and so far the phone is acceptable though I will trade it out of I find one without an answering machine and with a full-duplex speakerphone to better suit my specific needs. But for the price, it's a pretty spiffy unit and for what it does have, it does well.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Basic Phone, good volume

Pros: Headphone jack was why I bought this. Headphone jack works well. Phone feels pretty well built. Solid buy for the money. Not sure what else you could want in a basic phone.

Cons: First phone shipped to me had a defective headphone jack. 2nd was fine and I like it. Hey, it happens. I can't really see the LCD (caller ID) panel real well while sitting at my desk unless I lean forward. Not a huge deal.

Other Thoughts: Panasonic support was horrible. Call the place you bought it from instead of them. Panasonic wanted me to ship the phone back to them on my dine and wait 7-10 days for a replacemnt once they got it. and they made it sound like it was my only option. I was dumb not to first call the place of purchase 1st. Just thought I would mention that.

3 out of 5 eggsget what you pay for

Pros: Cheap. Plain, inoffensive visual design.

Cons: Does not have a full duplex speakerphone. Speakerphone quality is quite poor. Slow DTMF dialing (maybe it's a setting that I have not noticed).

Other Thoughts: This phone is fine for a professional-looking phone you don't plan to use regularly. If you use it more than occasionally you will probably be dissatisfied.

5 out of 5 eggsPanasonic quality

Pros: Loud - good sound quality. Clear LCD CallerID display from almost any angle. Simple, stylish button layout. Lots of nice extras, like headset jack and secondary phone connector.

Cons: Cheesy on-hold music is turned on by default. Handset cord could be longer. Callers tell me I sound a little tinny when on speakerphone, but I don't use it that much.

Other Thoughts: My box was labeled "Factory Inspected" - I wondered if it was a refurb (it wouldn't be typical of Newegg to omit something like that from the product description).

At any rate, the phone works great, and I'll ordering another.
