Great game
- Pros: Game has good visuals and game play is fun.
- Cons: Game is only really enjoyable with others, trying to do it solo just aint fun at all. Lost playability for me quickly within a week of receiving the game.
Who Is This For?
- Pros: Cute(sy). It's a sim, which is educational and builds understanding rather than merely dissipate aggression. It is oriented toward building relationships. A very good game for the right person.
- Cons: Although characters can speak, it's in Nintendobabble. Not only useless, but annoying. To play the game, you MUST be able to read, an read well. So don't buy this for young children. I know adults who love this game, but the graphics and situation seem targeted at pre-teens or younger. So who is the target user? Impossible for kids below 3rd grade. Older kids, who can read the text and understand the occasionally difficult words, might think the graphics, situation, and dialog too childish.
- Other Thoughts: WHY doesn't Nintendo provide full voice dialog? They do for the Wii Fit, and it is great! But The Wii Fit is targeted for adults, who can cope with text instead of voice. And NOBODY needs to listen to Nintendobabble!
great as the older version
- Pros: a very good game to get my family to sit down to play and watch together. It's the first game that attract my mom's attention. She plays it for hours almost everyday now since I got this game. Shopping in city is great.
- Cons: same as the ds version, with slightly improve graphics. City is small.
- Other Thoughts: get this if you like casual social networking game. If you already got the ds version, you might still like this but don't expect too much changes.
