5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: - immersive
- great post-apocalyptic atmosphere
- new challenging mode
- great storyline
- amazingly fun gameplay

Cons: - a lot of people have complained of glitches / bugs... although I save regularly and haven't encountered any game-breaking bugs yet, they do exist

- not quite as good as Fallout 3

Other Thoughts: If you are a fan of the Elder Scrolls series, check out the Fallout games. If you are a fan of Fallout 3 but have not played this yet, it is worth $20. Buy it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat game

Pros: Bought this game for my brother. He played through the whole thing and loved it.

Cons: He joined the NCR over Caesar's legion

Other Thoughts: The NCR reminded me of the Rebels from Star Wars.
The Legion is reminiscent of the Roman Legion/Spartans.

Sweet deal for $15

5 out of 5 eggsBest Game

Pros: -Graphics: Better depending on your television but I played on a high Ratio LED-LCD and it was amazing
-Plot: It has one....better than I can say about some games these days...
-FPS/RPG: This game was a perfect blend of these two aspects and if you try hard enough you will find a little mercantilism in this game

Cons: The game was a little buggy on PS3 at first due to incompatibility I am assuming. It got better after the first patch.

Other Thoughts: This game truly sucked me in. I havent been drawn in and addicted to a game like this since I was a kid playing FFVII...It was a great experience.
Moreover, It is extremely replayable. You can choose different weapon platforms or become a pacifist smooth talker. I recommend this game to anyone who likes RPG or FPS.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Although it feels more like an expansion to Fallout 3 rather than a sequel, it is still safe to call it its own game. I've spent over 100 hours playing this game, and only reached level 30 once. There's so much to do. When the Playstation network was down, I returned to this game and was as easily drawn into the story as I was the first time I played, if not more. Everytime I play I find something new.

Cons: -Freezes sometimes.
-Hardcore mode not very hardcore, but still fun.
-Impossible to NOT fail a quest. (Choosing to help one faction cancels all quests for another.)

Other Thoughts: Can't wait till the next Fallout that will be running on the new engine being used in Skyrim.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Game, but buggy

Pros: -Great storyline
-Awesome graphics
-Unlimited options
-Great follow up to Fallout 3

This is an outstanding game. There isn't much else to say about it. You dictate the story and your character in any way you see fit. Amazing concept!

Cons: This game is buggy!

After 16 hours of play, I have reached a glitch in the game that will not unlock. You'll notice when you open doors to enter a fort, building or new part of the game, sometimes the game play will stop and load the new segment. Well, when that happens, the game also auto saves at that point. I have unfortunately reached one of those glitches that has come at the exact point in which the game has auto saved, so every time I try to turn on the game to continue, the game loads directly to that point where the glitch has surfaced....awesome. I have tried shutting the system down, letting the glitch "ride out" by leaving the game on to see if it will fix itself, all to no avail. AND the best part is I have no other data that I can load to go back to an earlier point in the game. 16 hours and a dozen missions down the tube...

I really hope they release an update that fixes these glitches. This is what calls for 4 stars.

Other Thoughts: I know it's a new game and it contains an incredible amount of data. For ps3 the game requires at least 5 Gigs of available hard drive space. But, problems like these really make it a pain in the behind. This isn't the only glitch I've hit either. I've been in the middle of playing, the game will totally freeze and I will have to power down and restart my system.

3 out of 5 eggsNew Vagas

Pros: Great story and characters. There is a lot to do in the game. A play through can be very different from person to person depending on choices.

5 eggs for this

Cons: It is buggy. Freeze/Crash have to hard boot ps3. Probably the biggest down fall to the game. Graphics are not impressive.

-2 Eggs for bugs

Other Thoughts: The games story, characters, and things you can do balance the buggyness of the game. I bought this game new for $30 with a store promotion. If you are on the fense about this game, wait until it goes down in price.

3 out of 5 eggsBugs and graphics

Pros: Great story and game play. It really is a fun game.

Cons: The graphics are horrible. They look worse then Fallout 3. I have no idea why but its very pixilated, epically when outside. The game is buggy as well too. It crashes often and at random. By crash I mean by PS3 is frozen and I have to hard reset it. It happens waaay to often.

Other Thoughts: Maybe the crashing is a good thing? That way I don't play it so much.

5 out of 5 eggsBang For Buck

Pros: When it comes to great games (At great prices) This one hits the top of that check mark of Games to have for the ps3. Awesome dialog, graphics, and over all game-play. If you like this style of game, and enjoyed the first Fallout3 I suggest you take one off Newegg's shelf.

Cons: None to comment on.

Other Thoughts: The same day i ordered this game, i went to Game Stop to see the price for a used version of the game. It was double the price they had it here. It was $37 at newegg and Shipping was extremely fast and free. Thank you again Newegg.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible Gaming Experience

Pros: None

Cons: See "Other Thoughts"

Other Thoughts: I purchased this game on launch day back in October of last year. From that day to today, Jan. 3/2011. There has been about 3 to 4 title updates (patches) for the game that has been released to fix bugs and add stability to the game. The latest patch still hasn't fixed anything! Has Bethesda/Obsidian got the game running stable? ABSOLUTELY NOT! The game will crash/hang/glitch on you every few minutes to an hour or so. I've wasted almost 120 hours of my life trying to play this game on two different attempts and on different video game systems. This game will leave a very sour taste in your mouth and makes gaming look bad in general. I recommend you stay away from this title! Spend your money on a better game. If you do decide to purchase this game, don't say I didn't warn you.

Systems I tested the game on:

-Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite Slim 250GB
-Microsoft Xbox 360 Arcade
-Alienware M11x PC
-Sony PlayStation 3 Slim 160GB

(Zero day patch to current patch

4 out of 5 eggsSo flawed and oh so good anyhow

Pros: Detailed world, in-depth Faction system, extensive replayability for a single player game. Was oh so tempted to give it 5 stars in spite of the...

Cons: bugs hangs and occasional crashes. Sigh, the blushing bride has a wart or two. Save frequently.

Other Thoughts: Best game of 2010 in my opinion.
