5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Neato statuette,
Neato art book,
Neato game case
Neato huge box that it all came in.

Cons: Art book cover isn't leather but some soft cheap vinyl feel.
No in game perks to owning this edition.

Other Thoughts: I bought this knowing I was going to play it, but I still haven't started! That statuette is pretty sweet though.

4 out of 5 eggsDon't Buy Into the Hype Right Away

Pros: I rarely purchase these Special Collector Editions. Often times they are overpriced and rarely justify it. Plus the artbooks and other goodies are never the quality of the items they sell "separately" after the game has been released. So it feels like you're just paying extra for your fanaticism. Fortunately that is not the case here:

* The quality of the package is absolutely amazing. It's humongeous decorative box that you're not embarassed to have around. Everything inside is secured in smaller boxes that are as you guessed, packaged as well.
*The game itself is fun and very challenging. It is like a cross of Oblivion and Morrowind. So if you hated one, and loved the other, well you're still going to enjoy this. Now I'm sure you didn't purchase the SCE just to try the game out...onto the goodies.
*The dragon figure looks extremely detailed. It looks exactly how it appears in game. The wear and tear marks on its wings, scars, and menancing look are all captured perfectly.

Cons: **Additional Pros:**
*The Art Book is the quality you expect. Not those cheap phamplet types that contain a handful of design art. This one comes with a good amount of character and creature designs that is sure to entertain any artist, graphics designer, or gamer. The Binding is very strong and secure too.
*The Price I paid was absolutely the best thing ever.

*Now Onto the Cons:**
There are some things to dislike about the game and the package itself. I'll barely cover the game because you can just read the reviews on it.
*The Gate stand for the dragon is made of some cheap quality. Talking about cheap McDonalds toy quality. Unbelieveable that the dragon was made of such great quality, but the stand was not.
*The Package the game comes in. Athough it does look nice, but it's not as secure as your plastic cases. It is basically your box art sleves that collective DVDs come in. Bottom Line: Don't put anything heavy on it.
*The Game itself still has bugs. The developers tried pa

Other Thoughts: **Additional Cons:**
most of them, but they are still there. Some that occur on one play through do not on another. So be mindful of that. Players will say they fixed them all, but the Official forums are still littered with bug reports.
*The Map Quality. It is made of plastic Table Cloth material. Great if you accidently spill water on it, but nothing you want displaying around. Looks even worse than your paper laminate type maps.

**Other Thoughts**
If you can find it at the price I got it at you'll without a doubt love it. Can't say anything I regret about it. All I had to do was wait around 3 and a half months after the game was released to pick this up the regular price the game was. Almost Unheard of that the Special Collectors Edition was around for this long. I guess as more and more blockbuster title games are hyped beyond imagination, and the devs. make a huge amount of SECs, they'll stick around long after the hype has died out.
Bottom Line:Wait a bit and save a few $

1 out of 5 eggsNot for the PS3

Pros: Great game. 10/10 Visuals, 9/10 Play control, and 9/10 Audio. Some replay value.

Cons: Played Skyrim on the PS3 for about 2 weeks and noticed the save files were getting over twice as large as when I started. Then the system started slowing and freezing on the PS3 main menu. Then some of the save files got corrupted. Then the system started freezing on every boot. So, I reformatted the HDD and it still freezes on boot. Spoke with Sony support and now I'm having to send it in to be repaired.

Other Thoughts: Fortunately, PS3 Skyrim was still worth 40 on the gray market at the same time Steam had it on sale for 40.

5 out of 5 eggsNerd Power?

Pros: It's Skyrim, therefore amazing. It's one of the best looking and designed games. Ever. Huge dragon statue with it and an amazing artbook. Will keep me working at platinum for a very long time.

Cons: A statue and a book were $90...

Other Thoughts: If you're a collector, then collect. If you just want to play the game, buy the game.
