YAMAHA YHT-580BL Home Theater in a Box System

Home theater just got easier with the YHT-580BL from Yamaha. This set comes with a 5.1 channel receiver, the speakers to go with it, and a remote to control everything. The speakers are designed to work with the receiver to give you an exceptional entertainment experience right out of the box. The YPAO feature automatically calibrates the speakers for optimal sound.

The receiver has 3 component and 3 video inputs with both S-Video and composite jacks and a component video output, minimizing the wiring going to your TV. The video inputs are matched by stereo audio inputs, and there are 2 optical and 1 coaxial audio inputs. There are also connectors for an optional XM radio receiver and an optional iPod dock. Once you have everything connected, Dolby and DTS processors offer a great surround sound experience. There are 8 DSP preset programs, 3 HiFi and 5 Cinema, to optimize your listening pleasure.

There are 4 scene buttons on the front panel of the receiver that are designed to make your entertainment experience trouble free. Pressing one of the buttons changes the receiver’s settings for that activity. The initial settings include DVD viewing, TV viewing, Disc listening and radio listening.
