The db1240 subwoofer from Polk Audio creates exceptional sound quality. Just like other Polk Audio subwoofers, this db1240’s voice coil alignment, motor and suspension are all optimized with the wonderful Klippel laser analyzer. That ensures the db1240 delivers lower distortion and an immersive listening experience.

The subwoofer has a polypropylene cone which uses a rigid ABS dustcap to stiffen the cone for greater mechanical stability and lower distortion. Plus, with the santoprene surround and fire-retardant flat NOMEX spider, the db1240 is durable enough to stand up to toughest environments, so the db1240 can be used in boats of all types.
