- Very clear if microphone is angled properly.

Cons: - Stand could be a little better.

Other Thoughts: Overall I bought this microphone for a friend and I am completely satisfied with the product. He was also ecstatic about how good it sounded for such a low price.

Pros: I've always had various problems with mics for gaming; usually because my sound cards tend to die after a year or two (quit buying sound blaster products!). This USB mic has nice clean, crisp sound for skype and vent, no feedback; friends can't hear my dishwasher running anymore.

Cons: Thing is freaking huge and will pick up noise from mouse vibrations while you're playing; I simply moved it off my desk and everyone can still hear me fine

Pros: Clear sound quality

Cons: Switch is a little too smooth for the resistance, making it a little awkward turning it on/off when used with the desk stand.

When held in the hand it is very easy to use the switch

Other Thoughts: I got this on sale for half off for on-line chat and video commentary. The sound quality is very good. The sensitivity is very good. Cardioid pattern works well, although it will pick up a little feednack from desktop speakers, especially a monitor mounted center channel, if too close on your desk. For chat, use push to talk or just mute mic playback. If you absolutely must have playback monitored, I recommend a good headset or get a stand with a boom and position it a bit further away (At least 3') from your playback source.

Pros: Works great, sounds amazingly clear compared to my old headset mic. Me and my wife use these for our youtube channel and let's play videos and it's truly amazing.

Cons: MAY not be compatible with windows 8.

Other Thoughts: Plugged this into our windows 7 laptops and it came up without issue. Plugged into our Win 8 desktop though and there was nothing doing. I did a lot of research and it made be related to Windows not having a custom USB audio 2.0 spec driver... but I'm not positive. In the end, I had to use the default audio drivers from Win 7 and force a driver exception to install them (usually you have to have signed win 8 drivers for all of your devices...). I may have just had some bad luck getting everything to work, so I can't say for certain. Still it was enough of a pain that I had to knock an egg.

Sound quality IS awesome and if you're on Win7 or earlier you're more than set.

Pros: Functional and provides quality sound. Folks tell me it's a Karaoke mic, but eff 'em - i use it for TS because people kept complaining that my mic sucked (it did, hi ten dollar two year old dynex). So far, i havent had any problems that seem to be rife in other posts, and all my friends/etc tell me i'm louder, clearer, and generally better sounding. while it's sort of a shoe-in considering the jump from one mic to the other, i honestly believe this to be a quality mic.

Cons: while i myself have not had these issues, remember that electronics, mics in particular, are very finicky about their manufacture. small problems in the manufacturing process can lead to bigger ones in the product later on. it would seem that this can sometimes be the case for the good people at CAD. Dont let this be a deterrent, simply an advisory. If it's misbehaving, dont be afraid to put on your mean consumer hat.

Other Thoughts: Base requires a good amount of real estate on one's desk, although where there's a will, there's a hacksaw and a home-made wall/monitor/clock radio/cat mount. or something. (somehow i doubt my cat would go for that for too long. also, EVE IS REAL I WAS THERE

Pros: Perfect for me, Or really my buds.

- picks up perfect amount of sound

Other Thoughts: Me and a friend like to do songs (paradys) And post them on youtube! I have the recording both while my friend has the sing, working hard to a nice song!

Pros: I purchased this mic. about 8 months ago for use with skype as well as recording videos for about $35. The quality is decent (Though a little low for the price) and easily usable.

Cons: however after a while the mic began to emit a loud buzzing on any recording, people would complain when I got into conference calls asking me if I was in a car driving. This would only be fixed by leaving and joining the call again, and this worked only rarely. And when it did there was still a noticeable quality drop from when I first got it. A friend of mine bought the same mic around the same time as me and he has experienced similar problems as well as an added bonus of sometimes picking up radio signals that you could faintly hear fairly often.

Other Thoughts: After owning this I would prefer even a cheap desktop mic over this. And wouldn't recommend it to most. If you're feeling lucky and want to give it a try go ahead, just remember to keep the receipt and any warranty details around.
